While preparing for Thanksgiving and cooking for my family, I purchased ground meat for a baked ziti dish. Unfortunately, during the preparation, I noticed a rotten aroma, prompting an investigation that revealed the ground meat was spoiled. This isn't the first time I've encountered such issues with items purchased here, and it's truly frustrating. I feel it's important to raise awareness about this matter.Consuming rotten meat can pose serious health risks due to the presence of harmful bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria. These bacteria can lead to foodborne illnesses with symptoms ranging from nausea and diarrhea to more severe conditions. This is especially risky for vulnerable populations such as the elderly, young children, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems. It's imperative to prioritize food safety, be vigilant for signs of spoilage, and avoid eating meat that has gone bad to protect your health. As a caution, I advise against visiting Cherry Valley located on Pennsylvania Ave in Brooklyn.
