I'd just dropped off a prepaid return package containing an e-scooter. It's beyond me as to why they need to charge $3 for a prepaid package, claiming that it was because of the size. Does FedEx gain a percentage of the supposed oversized fee collected when they pick up? Is the fee for the temporary rental space in front of the bin? I'd requested a receipt, only to obtain the tracking and not for the off the books $3 charge.

Terrible experience every time I come in here. I just tried giving the men behind the counter feedback about their lack of good customer service and I got yelled at. I always get an eye roll or teeth sucked whenever I ask for a receipt for a package, as if it’s not their job to do so. Today I tried to explain that I understand that the receipt is not for the tracking number but that customer service sometimes asks for pictures of the receipts for evidence, and he kept repeating again and again in a more aggressive tone that the receipt meant nothing. Finally I left on the verge of tears. I’m visibly pregnant and disturbed by this behavior. All I wanted was a receipt. Plus now they are often closed at random times so incredibly unreliable. I was continuing to use them of convenience but I will not be coming back.

I come in once or twice a week to do USPS drop-offs. Last week, they held onto my packages for four days before sending them out, causing unnecessary delays. They never reached out to notify me of the issue, and I’m still unsure whether my packages were even sent properly. When I called to ask about it, the older man who answered the phone yelled at me and spoke in a condescending way. Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant customer service. Other reviews seem to reflect similar experiences. They also charge inconsistent and random fees — every visit, the total seems to change for no clear reason.
Edit: they replied, lying - I dropped off my package on Friday, not Saturday. 5 days with no update on USPS drop off. It’s Tuesday evening and the package tracking hasn’t updated, not to mention bad customer service. 🤮

Their site clearly states there are no fees for pre-labeled packages, however I’ve been charged $1 per USPS package and $5 dollars for FedEx - all were pre-labeled and packaged.
I paid since I had already carried the packages but won’t be returning - the shipping companies offer home pick up for less than these fees here.
The front desk offered no explanation for the discrepancy on their site other than: “I’ll tell my manager” and “idk what to tell you, we’re in a convenient spot”.
I’m not against people making money but surprise fees aren’t the way to do it.
