Hours: The Painted Swan is a beautiful, joy-filled place. The people who run it are exceptional—warm, kind, and deeply welcoming. Their housewares and objets d’art are exquisitely curated, including carefully chosen wares and pieces—new, bespoke, antique, vintage, and one-of-a-kind. Their signature-scent candle is absolutely amazing (and only $25). The thoughtfully chosen pieces here are priced far more reasonably than anywhere else. They always have special dog treats on hand that dogs go crazy for, so all day long dogs pull their owners through the door. The shop offers wonderfully scented candles that fill the space with warmth and make the entire visit a pleasure. They also host classes on chalk painting. The interior is beautiful, and every visit feels special. The kitchen section is a favorite, with eco friendly cleaning products, practical necessities, and plush tea towels. Past purchases include a brass kitchen rail with hooks and incredibly reasonably priced wooden spoons. It’s the warmest, most charming, and happiest boutique in Brooklyn. A must-visit for anyone looking for unique finds.
