DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. DO NOT EAT HERE. This is one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I've been here in person and it was just alright. Nothing special. But my partner wanted to order take out and wow are we incredibly disappointed. My pork belly taco totally fell apart as soon as I picked it up because this restaurant uses CHEAP STORE BOUGHT TORTILLAS. The kind that get soggy immediately and everything falls through. For a place charging $6.90 for a single taco, they should invest in using a higher quality brand of tortillas or make their own. The brisket arepa was flavorless. No salt. The meat was shredded all to hell and barely any meat inside the arepa at all. It was $18. Total rip off. The patatas bravas were horrible too. Potatoes were dry and flavorless. They prepared the potatoes incorrectly. This place clearly does not have real cooks working. This is amateur level stuff. You can find MUCH better street food versions of what they're doing and at a fraction of the price. This place is a total rip off. I'm not rich. It means a lot to me when I want to spend extra money on a restaurant. And I'm not expecting to be blown away every time, but I am expecting the food to be edible. But trying to eat their arepa was like putting flavorless slop into my mouth. I'm currently making my own dinner now because we just couldn't stomach their food. We had to throw it in the trash. Awful awful awful. New York has many great restaurants but this ain't one of them.

Such a cute find! It's more of a to go vibe but they have some outdoor seating. I was pleasantly surprised at the extensive menu, it was hard narrowing down options as there was much I wanted to try. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the pabellon and the crab croquettes, both were absolutely delicious. Will be back again to try other offerings!

Absolutely loved this spot. Super cute & casual with a really friendly server on the night we were there. Everything was delicious: chicken arepas, tacos, patatas bravas, bacalao croquettes! The frozen passionfruit margarita was fun and sooo tasty too!

Such a cute spot with really tasty food! The arepas are super delicious and filling--I'd recommend both the chicken and mushroom ones. The Pan con Tomate is definitely a favorite, and the mushroom taco is another great choice.

"Weirdness in the Crown" Very mixed review. This could be a good place where there is nothing like it in this neighborhood. But it's not a good weird from the food to the service, I hate being directed to sit anywhere and then scan and ordering and paying from a QR code. Need more personal service or I'm heading for fast food. What's to cheer - nice decor with plenty of outdoor seating - good bacalao fritters What's to jeer - too hipster - bland guacamole - frozen margaritas came first in a typical glass then second round came in a plastic to go cup like the pandemic (we weren't leaving)

This spot was great! I loved the convenience of ordering and paying through a QR code, but there was still someone around for anything I needed. The Pork Arepa is a must-try. I also had a chicken taco and dumplings--both were delicious. The white sangria was nicely balanced, not too sweet. It's a small place with mostly counter seating and a few tables, plus some decent outdoor seating for warmer days. I'll definitely be back!

***Outdoor Dining, Quick Service, Very Delicious*** I came here recently with a friend and very much enjoyed our dinner meal. Food is shareable and pretty much comes out all at once. The outdoor dining is very simple and I appreciate the dog friendly option. Highly recommend their arepas and yuca balls.

The carne machada (shredded beef) arepa w/green sauce was bomb! Unfortunately everything else wasn't. The fries were bottom tier and got served a kid size coke (7.5oz) for $3 and no cup of ice in crown heights, Brooklyn of all places. You can only order off an app (no menu) takes away local restaurant feeling.

The chicken arepas here are the best arepas I've ever had in my life. Also had the shrimp arepas, which were great but slightly short of life changing.

Very good tapas! My favorite arepa in the area. I would skip the octopus- it's very rubbery and tasteless. In my opinion, it seemed boiled- there was not texture and was drowned in olive oil.

This spot has been on my list for a hot minute but I always end up going somewhere else. I finally went out of my way to come and I was not into it from the moment I step in. The vibe felt so empty. With one "waiter" (the place is automated they only bring you the food) and one cook my expectations went to just hoping to eat something edible. The second red flag was the water. I poured some and swallowed what I can only describe as sewer water. I took a closer look at the container and noticed a bunch of gunk on the inside of the container. The "margarita" was 100% only margarita mix and was barely frozen (more of a watery slush). On top of that being juice again I realized something wrong with the container, the cup was broken. Do they not know you aren't suppose to drink from broken glassware!? Then the "food" came out the "gambas" was a cup of canola oil with a few overly salted shrimps. A spinach dish that claimed to have mushrooms came with one mushroom chopped finely and another ton of salt. The "batatas brava" again were nothing but salt but also the sauce was so off. Overall the music was on point (Rock en Español) that almost made me forgot the taste in my mouth. This diner like spot is a hard pass.

Hey there, This was my second dining experience at this spot. Since my last visit they revamped the decor and it's very cramped and cluttered with so much seating. I guess they are trying to get the most for their money. Unfortunate for the diner. Their service system is the QR code to order and pay for your food through the website. Hence little or to no contact with wait staff. A little impersonal for me. The food was average. I'd just order take out in the future and honestly there are plenty of better choices now so I can pass on this spot. The 3 stars were for the pleasant wait staff.Nothing worth taking pics of.

Happened to be in the area and saw the spot and wanted to try it. Love seeing more Venezuelan spots pop up! I did take out. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was savory as was the carne. The portions were big. These arepas were stufffffed. I didn't have the pan con tomate until the next day but it was good. Decor is intentional and beautiful imo. Service was quick and attentive. I would come back to dine in.

Great outdoor space for people watching and afternoon sun. The arepas are ridiculously delicious. I threw in the pan con tomate today. Not gonna find a better one between here and Barcelona. It's my 'take myself out to lunch' place.
