Could be cleaner. But it is what it is.

Good spot, convenient when work may have me in the area. But they messed up my pickup order. Got the wrong products.

After years of this location being solid & our go to spot for pet care, the quality of care has changed. The last 6 months we have had multiple appts cancelled the day-of by this location after getting confirmation the day before & the new receptionist or whomever is making the calls is extremely rude about it. Basically told us it’s our problem they couldn’t do the appt & we would have to look elsewhere. Heard - will no longer be taking our business here for any of our pet needs.

I nearly froze for 4 hrs. The groomer was backed up No heat and AC was on . Temps were in the 30's. My appt was for 1:30pm and at 5:30 l was still waiting for my poor doggie to be groomed. Incredible. Never again.

Dog groomer Michelle is very rude and unprofessional. Do not waste your time going to this location. I paid for a luxury bath for my dog and he wasn’t cleaned at all. He smelled not even two days after being “groomed”. I also sent him with a filthy bandanna on and Michelle kept the same bandanna on him and tucked it under his harness trying to cover it up by putting a new petsmart bandanna around his neck.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with PetSmart's adoption process at their Atlantic Ave location in Brooklyn. I inquired about adopting a 5-month-old cat and was given the information to apply and wait for a volunteer to get back to me. However, after weeks of waiting, I sent two follow-up emails, but neither were responded to. It’s disappointing that after expressing interest in adopting a pet, the communication was non-existent. I understand the importance of volunteers, but the lack of responsiveness and the complete silence from the staff was extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend relying on their adoption process, as it feels like they don't prioritize prospective adopters or their inquiries at all.

I went in earlier today to get some essentials for my cats. There is variety on food, and treats, I enjoyed scrolling around the store to see what was available. The store was also clean and spacious to scroll with the cart. However, the reason for my low review was because there were only two cashiers and the one who handled my check out looked absolutely miserable to be there. I understand working in retail is taxing but the female cashier seemed much more friendly to the gentleman in front of me. Overall, wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

Decent location, a bit cramped and messy but gets the job done.

Don’t support this place. Heard a guy in a pet store talking about how he bought a lizard from this store and was going to let it starve because he didn’t want it anymore. These are the type of people that you’re selling animals to, not to mention the animal abuse that goes on behind closed doors at the store.

Took my dog here a few days ago for a haircut, against my better judgement. She was assigned Nazi B as her groomer. The groom, overall looked great and the haircut was as I asked for. However, my dog was significantly cut during the appointment—I mean, a good chunk of her skin was shaved off. I get it, accidents happen, and my dog can be squirmy. But no one said ANYTHING when I picked her up! LITERALLY NOTHING! Dogs, like humans, have to have their wounds taken care of as to avoid infection—PetSmart of all places should know this. Had I not noticed her licking the back of her leg the next day, and taken care to treat it, it could have been BAD. I'm in awe that they would do something like this and not say anything.
Called and spoke to a manager, who was kind and said she'd follow up to see what happened since there was nothing reported. She did, however, offer a free groom for next time, which I declined (ain't no way I'm taking my baby back there).

For me it was a Magnificent experience when I brought my first dog friend to the bathroom with her honey haircut, they left it just as I asked for, its delicious smell, her first visit was in Minnesota and I was delighted, I hope in Brooklyn NY it will be the same soon 🤗♥️
