This bank is trash. They gave so much runaround when i was trying to set up my online account. I had to come in person for their stupid "verification" process. What's the point of online banking if i have to come in-person.Not everyone can make it in person, hence why people do stuff online. Im taking my money out and going to a different bank like chase for sure.

Ms. Darcel is a awesome Branch Supervisor who really looks out for the well-being of her customers. I had a situation where a credit card company was trying to take advantage of me and not only did she give me wise counsel. She resolved the issue!!!

I received an email inviting me to apply for the PPP Loan in January. After some delays in having my taxes prepared I submitted my application on April 20. What a nightmare it has been so far. Ever since former branch manager Mr. Leo Garrick left things have really gone down hill. It's impossible to have anyone answer the phone so I find myself driving over to the branch to get things done in person. So far I have been given incorrect "advice" about the process. The branch manager was completely unaware of the type of PPP Loan (owner compensation replacement) I was applying for and refused to take responsibility for giving me inaccurate advice. So far I submitted my application nearly two weeks ago and there has been absolutely no movement. Why invite business owners to participate in a program your staff is neither knowledgeable of nor has the training or resources to support? I am eligible for a second draw but that is now at risk due to the incompetence of the staff, particularly the new branch manager. I DO NOT recommend this branch if you are a business owner that expects a professional level of assistance. Unfortunately, under the tenure of the new branch manager things have completely deteriorated.

Went with a PoA to do a transaction in my Mother's name, the lady send me to the Dyckman branch, told me that I have to do it there, I was the only client at the time. On the Dyckman branch they told me they could do it in Brooklyn, just lazy.I don't recommend this branch at all.

The worst bank if you are trying to open a business account. On the website, there are a list of items you will need to open a business account; when you get there is totally different. They are very rude and slow. They would ask for information which is irrelevant to opening a business account. For example, they want to know how much you spend on inventory, the vendors information and etc. I am not going in there for a loan but to open a business account. DO BETTER!

Darcel and Leo are fabulous. We have been using this bank for almost 2 years for business banking and they are always available if the need arises. They also helped us navigate the PPP loan during Covid and if we were with a larger bank that didn't have close customer relationships this would have been extremely difficult. Thank you for being there during such a difficult time.
