I've been a customer of R&G Brenner for years. I had my taxes done this year on April 15th, cutting it close I know. Allen the prepara was wonderful. He explained some concerns about my knew situations and gave me time and I was happy with the outcome. Of course I plan to have them done with him at R&G Brenner next year.

We are not happy to have to pay a higher fee just because we did our tax on APRIL 9 and not before!!!Never heard this and it’s not okay

I do not understand how this company has received any high ratings. My experience was simply awful. 1. The app sux because you're unable to delete files on your own!! And no one responds to Chats. 2. An appointment was set, I joined on time and wanted 20 minutes. No one joined or reached out to me. Called the preparer and he didn't even know or forgot about our appoint. Give me 30 minutes and I'll call you back, he says. In the meantime, I found another preparer. However after 45 minutes, I call him. He says, you have so many documents, I'm downloading them now. I told him that he can stop because I won't need his services. To my surprise and horror, he sounded relieved. The interaction was astoundingly unprofessional. 3. The fired preparer told me he would delete my files. To this day, more than a week later, the files haven't been removed. I had to call to ask for removal. 4. The website boasts being a family owned business , older than Methuselah, but it was clear to me that preparers are outsourced and I'm unsure of their connection to the main company or how they're vetted. Horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Alan has prepared my joint tax return for the past 2 years and I couldn’t be more pleased with his professionalism, thoroughness and overall customer service. The document drop off and one-on-one return review are simple and efficient. Alan is a pleasure to work, and so is his office. Highly recommend.

I did my taxes 2 weeks ago. Alan did a good job. I already got my federal and state refundHowever the price for doing taxes was a sticker shock. They never tell you how much it will cost. But $314 for literally 30 min of work and a simple returnSo I'm not sure if I would do my taxes there again.
