Prices too high for milk and eggs but LOVE the unique products you can find here. Also great staff and happy to have a 24-hour grocery. My late night go-to when I realize I need something essential.

Reasonable price for the grocery in the area. Normally grocery price in Greenpoint is kindda high but this place has the price same as Spanish market so it is good to know. After I went to see the doctor I stopped by this market to shopping before I go back home. I was happy to find the place that has a good price.

I know the economic climate has been tough so I hate to leave a bad review, but someone is going to get sick from this grocery store. I can attest to the other reviewer who said the dairy/cheese fridge went out and they continued to sell the products — some of the cheese had very long expiration dates so I kept getting bad cheese and had to stop buying it there, which is a shame because the selection is the best in the neighborhood.ALL of the potatoes are always green as well, meaning extremely high solanine. They've clearly been out for months because obviously they aren't selling. At this point I just don't trust how they store and stock their food.

Great fast service. Good shop. Fresh products and reasonable prices. Many fresh fruits and European stuff come from Poland. Well organized and clean. Very popular in the neighborhood…

Kind of like a classier, Euro-bodega of sorts. Even the stock cat on site looks down its nose at you. Besides that melodrama, the food is fresh despite importation from distant places like Poland. The prices are reasonable.

Generally, I'm not someone who leaves negative reviews often and I don't enjoy doing so but leaving Rachel's today after shopping left me frustrated. I have been shopping at Rachel's for several years. The prices are high but this is expected because they tend to have local brands and health foods. I rated 1 star because the staff can be slightly dismissive and unfriendly. Even after greeting the person at the cashier with a "hello" and a smile, the person was unresponsive or unfriendly. This attitude has been recurrent. Also, I purchased some heavy groceries such as a melon and carton or milk. I requested an extra shopping bag because the groceries were heavy and I was concerned that the bag would tear on my way home. The cashier responded "you don't have an extra quarter do you?" Not to make a big deal about a shopping bag but as a customer who has shopped there for several years it would be nice to have friendly staff and not be sabotaged about an additional bag for heavy, expensive groceries that I am purchasing from the shop. Lastly, the refrigerator temperature for dairy products was too warm to be safe. I love to promote and recommend places where I shop but I believe this place can do better. Unfortunately, I will not be shopping here again but wanted to leave this note as constructive criticism in hopes that the team there can look into these matters and perhaps improve.

Solid neighborhood grocery store with many Turkish options. They have a good olive bar.

First off, the location is now 116 Nassau Avenue. I really like this store. I think they have a great selection & the staff has still been doing really well with masks. I wish the pet food section was a bit expanded, but other than that am glad this convenient, friendly, place is available.

Love this place. BUT Unfortunately some of their refrigerators are broken and everything is warm and rotting. YET they’re still selling these products. Very disappointed. I hope they do something soon because they will get somebody sick!!!!!!! Its starting to smelllllllll so bad in the back because of all the warm cheese.

This is my favorite store in the neighborhood. The selection of foods is outstanding. I especially like that there are a lot of Turkish delicacies (dolma, ayran, sucuk, and many more). One thing I would ask the store's manager is to keep an eye on kefirs. Sometimes in the winter, I find that some bottles were delivered frozen which is not good for this drink, as it breaks its texture.

Rachel's is where we go for everything fruit or vegetables wise. If you live on Greenpoint or just moved - seriously check this place out.
