Food was delicious. We ordered shrimp with red velvet waffles and chicken with red velvet waffles , my god it was good. It was well seasoned and flavorful.Will definitely order again?

Wanted to try this place since I just moved here and I ordered the reggae pasta with chicken. The pasta came with NO sauce. Was really looking forward to it. Very disappointed.

I ordered brunch an the delivery took over an hour and half the order was missing..DO NOT do delivery with this establishment..by the time your food comes it’s cold and nasty an ya missing half the order paid $57 for NOTHING..I have a feeling you won’t be in business too much longer with the service you’re

Got 2 orders of rice & peas that came with a salad (that never came) with chicken as well as “seasoned” fries… lol. Fries were soggier than a sponge & the rice & peas were so bland it makes vegan tofu look like filet mignon. I live no further than 20 mins away yet it comes lukewarm. Overall disappointed for spending $20 and it being an utter waste

Ordered there via Uber Eats earlier today. They have a BOGO special where you can get chicken and waffles among other entrees. I ordered the chicken and waffles along with two lemonades. When it was delivered, just the way everything was packaged, I knew I was going to e upset. The box that had the “chicken and waffles” had four waffle slices. No chicken. There was NO second entree (BOGO). Could not rate the atmosphere because it was delivery and I didn’t even bother eating the waffles. Very disappointed and hungry.

Except for Niyah (unsure of spelling), the staff here should not be the service or hospitality business. We ordered chicken tenders and waffles last week via UberEats and the waffles were burnt. I spoke with Niyah who was great; she approved my refund and told me to come in and pick up two new orders free of charge at my convenience. So this morning I called ahead, explained the situation and headed to the restaurant. First of all, the health grade is pending and visually, it doesn't look like a place a would want to eat. But the young lady behind the counter and the cook in the back have HORRIBLE attitudes. They gave me the wrong thing, then loudly discussed in the back how it wasn't their fault because I didn't ask for the right thing. The cook didn't want to "drop 8 tenders" and he made that known. As I waited for my food, I observed the interaction with Uber Eats staff and other customers. Mark - whoever that is - isn't getting his order. Just too much negative energy first thing in the morning. And when I got home, the waffles were brown on one side and yellow on the bottom. I will NEVER visit this location again. I've always had a pleasant experience at the Hancock Street location.

This place needs to be shut down immediately! The owner/manager is a pathological LIAR and a narcissist… he responds to customers reviews sarcastically and covers up without taking accountability and concern, always making excuses as a cover up or being doubtful about customers issues and experiences which tells there will definitely be no change and the fact that the unsanitary practices of this restaurant can make people seriously ill is worrisome. You will be sold reheated food that is on the verge of spoiling and he will dismiss your claims, very nasty and distasteful that they won’t throw out anything from the day before and reheats for resale, disregarding the fact that this can cause major health issues. Persons need to get on board with me and have this restaurant reported and shut down! In the mean time if you care about your health, STAY CLEAR FROM PURCHASING ANY FOOD HERE, you’ll thank me later.

I truly wish 0 stars was an option. I ordered their buttermilk waffle with shrimp, Oreo waffle with shrimp, and red velvet waffle with shrimp. Not only did the order come 2+ hours late, it was also missing items that I paid additional money for. Before even opening the bag, a rancid smell filled the room immediately upon bringing the order into my home. I opened the boxes of food and the waffles were cold and soggy and had some bits of burnt plastic (looks like some type of non stick material. Perhaps from a pan or old griddle?). The shrimp had such an unappealing smell permeating from them that it really made me question the integrity of both the restaurant AND the driver for serving and delivering something so rancid smelling. I am in complete shock that instead of cancelling my order, they chose to prepare and sell me spoiled food (SEAFOOD AT THAT). I have never been so moved to write a poor review before but this place is a HUGE safety concern.

I purchased three meals from this restaurant. The shrimps from each meal was spoiled, my family became sick because of their neglect. The shrimps has a spooied odor and the chicken was refried. very disappointed.

This was my second time ordering the red velvet waffle with chicken and shrimp and this is the second time I walked out and had to go back because they didn’t include the shrimp. I didn’t eat it anyway. It was hard and stale. I bit into it, chewed and spit it out. It was hard on the outside and inside. The chicken and waffle were ok. The guy handling the food was coughing and didn’t have a mask on. I will NEVER return here. They’re not consistent, order packing is 0/0 and if your sick/appear to be sick, STAY THE F&$€ HOME!! YUCK!
