I love the intimacy of this venue! I've been here at least a dozen times to see various shows, everything from jazz to soul to afrobeats. There isn't a bad seat in the house, the upstairs is very cute as well as the space in front of the stage.

The sound space is gorgeous, the way sound and light systems were integrated into the wood-beam architecture. Staff is very friendly, drinks are reasonably priced (relative to other Brooklyn spaces), and they have a socially conscious credo. I look forward to future events!

Lovely venue and staff! I did want to kindly encourage y’all to pursue less single use plastics with your drinks, though.
Perhaps working with a local company like Deliver Zero or Cup Zero to secure a circular cup model, or only serving canned beers, no plastic cups, or serving in legit compostables with compost receptacles to make sure they’re processed.
I love to see music venues keeping the local ecosystem in mind—just some friendly food for thought, as we endure a climate crisis exacerbated by fossil fuels (plastics are made from fossil fuels…)

Even though the seats were killing my back the event was nice. I was there to see Awich and i was in the front which was a tiny bit too close but I was happy to be so close for the night. Things that pissed me off the most was getting rudely bumped out the way by 2 men that work there taking pictures of her while i was trying to record my video and there being no time to talk to the artist. It’s started late and it’s as if they wanted it to end early as well. But still grateful they had her there for the night.

My favorite venue in Brooklyn. From the security to the concierge/ticketing, all of the staff were accommodating and friendly.
The venue is small, but the sound is great.
