ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. I don’t even know where to start. We booked these movers online and agreed on the number of hours we needed them for. Only two movers came after we told them we are moving three bedrooms and a living room and kitchen which is already off to a wrong start, they brought 0 equipment with them (no dolly, nothing to wrap with, etc.) and are lollygagging to waste time and extend their hours. My favorite part is the movers dragging the bare, unwrapped mattress across the floor with nothing on it and I asked the mover nicely to wrap the mattress before moving it and told him that this should’ve been a part of the service and I shouldn’t have had to tell him not to drag a mattress that you sleep on across a dirty floor in New York City where who knows what has been trekked on the floor. The mover proceeds to tell me to shutup and yells at me. I’m absolutely appalled. I call the company that contracted them and told them this is completely unprofessional and they need to send movers who are at the least respectful and can move our items without damaging them. I was told to figure it out and that they felt like we weren’t going to tip them and that’s why they were acting like that and then they hung up on me. First off, that’s a wrong assumption and second, that explains why they were wasting time and not taking care of anything which is so completely unprofessional. Again, I’m absolutely appalled and there’s nothing I could’ve done because he already had some of our furniture loaded into the truck. IT GETS BETTER. They drive their small, janky truck (which was also not what we were promised) to our new apartment without even telling us that they were leaving and completely man handle all furniture out of spite, ripping the box spring and breaking parts of furniture. They break lights in the stairwell of our new building and leave the glass everywhere on the floor and cause a short in the building and say it’s not their problem. We paid them what was agreed upon for the three hours and they start arguing with us. Finally, they leave taking the bed screws with them and used those to blackmail us to send them more money. STAY AWAY.

Abraham and his crew were prompt, thoroughly professional, utterly courteous, and very easy to work with. They were also flexible, able to pivot to protect additional items at the last minute, and throughout our move, not a single item has been found to be damaged at their hands. We would wholly recommend them.

We had a really wonderful experience with Rightway Movers. Avi proved to be exceptionally careful with our furniture, some of which was antique and fragile. We also had a significant amount of artwork which was handled with care. Our initial moving quote was lower than I would have expected and lower than all of the other quotes we got and because the move took 4 men from 8:45 AM to 6 PM I expected the price to change. We were surprised that it did not. A funny thing happened as well. When we got to the new apartment we realized that we had miscalculated the space and layout of our living room and when the furniture was placed there it didn't work at all. Avi was great and made a suggestion that resulted in moving all of the placed furniture and large rug until it worked in a different configuration. Needless to say, at no additional cost. This was a really great experience for us. So there you have it, movers and decorators all in one. Lastly, Avi arranged for the certificates of insurance and he also did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. It was a relief to be able to get what you expect. I highly recommend Rightway Movers. They are professionals who get the job done as agreed. They deserve the 5 star rating that I have just assigned them.

This was the 3rd time we've used Rightway Movers. They helped us move in to our apartment in Manhattan, remove some large pieces of furniture we wanted to put in the storage, and most recently helped us move to a new apartment on the Upper East Side . Avi and his guys are extremely professional as well as experienced. We had some of same guys from our previous moves and felt super comfortable knowing them and that they were still part of the team (5 years later).Avi is a pleasure to work with. He is kind and his prices are fair and straight to the point.None of our furniture came broken, or scratched and in a timely manner. They showed up on time, and before they left made sure everything they could do was done.These guys know whats up.Thanks Avi!Well see you on the next move!

I’ve had bad experiences with moving company’s and I must say rightway movers has made my experience a GREAT one. Very professional, on time, stayed in contact & made sure they kept me updated at all times. If ever I should move again( right way movers will be on speed dial ) thank you so much.
