Lines are long at the pharmacy but even when the line is short, service is very slow. Always out of stock on basics, like Pepto Bismol.

Will turned this store around.Been a resident shopper here for 4 years and this last year the store would have deserved zero stars. The manager was rude to her employees and yelled at customers. Shelves were NEVER stocked, the cooler/fridge was down for over 6 months, and the money order machine was out of service. I couldn't even get hand soap, dish sponges, paper towels or a cold drink the majority of the time. I stopped coming here and began going out of my way for daily household items because it had become so bad.Recently I stopped back in for some toothpaste and saw that everything was finally restocked, the fridges were working, and I coincidentally heard the new manager explaining to his staff how to ring in a money order..I asked for his name and let him know he turned the store around. Having a well stocked and reliable neighborhood store is a lifesaver. So I'm grateful for the great job Will is doing there. I hope it's recognized from his superiors and he is commended for the work he has done so far. Quality of life is much easier for the entire neighborhood when we can buy the things we need.

JENNY I have had an interactions with you 2 times and both times you have been VERY unprofessional VERY UNPLEASANT to talk to. You need to find a new job that doesn't require you to work with people.

Second time here: the reviews are terrifying and I believe them, but my experience was the exact opposite. The pharmacy actually picks up the phone!!! (mine *never* does, another corporate chain that's much closer to my work) If they were any closer to me, I'd work with them any day over the CVS I go by Flatbush junction. ?♂️

Worst pharmacy I have been to in Brooklyn. Every single item is locked away so you have to constantly ring the buzzers and wait a long time until somebody comes to help. Most annoyingly though the staff is completely clueless and rude and will not sell age restricted items even though I have carried my passport with me and checked Rite aids policy online beforehand. Unless you have an US passport you won't be able to buy any age restricted items here. But even if you do I recommend to stay away from this place!

This lady has the nastiest attitude. When you ring the bell so she can just use her key she gets upset. I need you all to do me a favor. When you come here please donate to this lady so she can get a new wig PLEASE and thank you. Her hair is always tore up you can’t miss her. She’s there every morning. She had to have gotten that wig from dollar tree

This place sucks. Pharmacy is pretty good. But to me it’s not the attitude of the staff, it’s the place and the way Rite Aid wants it run. I might’ve gotten bad attitude twice in the 5 or so years I’ve been using this place but have witnessed many many customers walk in the door with bad attitudes.

This is by far the worst pharmacy in Brooklyn, the staff is very rude and disrespectful and they will violate your privacy and any HIPPA law they threw my medication on the floor one time. Do not use this pharmacy

Most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever encountered. Go someplace else if you can. At least 85 characters, why? Quality over quantity. Always.

I've never had an experience with a prescription that didn't involve some annoying last minute flag being raised, re: prior authorization flags or a medication suddenly not being available until the next day. You can't schedule effectively with a pharmacy that makes accessing life affirming treatment so difficult to obtain without red tape and obstacles.I, to this day, have to keep calling them about prescriptions that they have "on file" bc they never bothered to process them. I'm a diabetic, so prescriptions are a life or death matter. They had some VERY important CGM tech on backlog forever, and at first made it out to be an insurance issue. I said screw it, how much will it cost to pay out of pocket, then suddenly my insurance could've paid for it this whole time. They also had me going for almost a week without insulin bc someone dropped the ball on processing a prescription after I had my doctor send a new script in. That is DANGEROUS.Very upsetting. The proximity to the pharmacy is literally the only upside.EDIT: it happened AGAIN where I called about a prescription, was told that it couldn't go through bc of insurance issues, and after being pressed about it after I do all the work, the prescription magically goes through. It's an effort issue, it's a pharmacy issue. I was willing to cut them some space bc the American healthcare system is horrible, but these folks are objectively a bad pharmacy, patient beware!

This pharmacy is useless. They should loss their license. I’ve actually never NOT had a problem when I’ve gone in for my prescriptions. Today was the last straw. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO IN THEY TELL ME I DON’T HAVE A PRESCRIPTION. Which is not true.I went in to pick up the antibiotics I watched my doctor call in yesterday and they claimed they didn’t have it again. More like they’re lazy and negligent. Magically they all of a sudden found my prescription in minutes after I got irritated.3 weeks ago there was another prescription they claimed they didn’t have. I had to call my doctor to resend the script and needed prior authorization so I took care of that as well. I should have been all set. NOPE! They have been out of the drug for weeks which is not their fault. So I asked to have the script transferred to another pharmacy. The pharmacist came up and started speaking to the cashier, not me and told her she would not recognize my prescription. Apparently she thinks it’s her decision whether or not a script is valid. It’s not a controlled substance in any way, my doctor prescribed it and my health insurance passed it though a prior authorization. But she decided not to recognize/transfer it.She ‘s rude unprofessional. I couldn’t even understand what she was saying when I was trying to listen to her conversation about me with the cashier. She was using Caribbean slang and not making clear statements or explaining her decision. The cashier couldn’t explain it either. I’m going to report this pharmacy to the oversight bureau that covers pharmacies. They should not be able to continue serving people with such careless behavior dealing with people’s health.
