Awesome. Professional. Creative. I've worked with Ruby Bird for many years and will continue to do so for many more.

We booked Ruby Bird as a getting ready space for our wedding day. Throughout the process, they were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. The day went smoothly and we had everything we needed, in addition to also being the perfect backdrop on our big day.

Love shooting here. They are super helpful and reasonable, run by people that actually work and shoot in the industry so they get that there are occasionally odd requests. The spaces have raw elements that can add another set up to a shoot. Glad to support this local business.

An amazing studio location in historic Greenpoint Brooklyn. The team was stellar- diligent, creative, accommodating and fair! Each space has a make-up station, steamer and a wardrobe rack for clothing. Additionally, working with the team was seamless. Highly recommended!

I'm a New York based professional photographer and videographer and was in need of a studio for regular use. The problem that I kept running into was that I needed something larger (at least 900 sq/ft), with daylight and high ceilings but couldn't afford to pay over $400 to rent because it would be cost prohibitive for the work I do. I recently found Ruby Bird and felt like I'd been given a gift. I believe their current rate is only $350 for the half day and the studio is 1000 sq/ft. The space is in a historic building and feels like it has limitless shooting areas (the huge windows at the back end of the studio have amazing light and sport stunning view). I used the studio to do portrait work for a celebrity fitness couple and things couldn't have gone better.
I rarely write reviews because I feel people don't read them but I felt compelled to pay it forward for photographers like myself who struggle with rising rent costs but still need a studio where our clients will be impressed and feel comfortable. I also have to note that the studio is run by another photographer, Rebecca, who made me feel warm and welcome and couldn't do enough to make sure I had everything I needed. She rocks. I'm looking forward to all the work I'm going to create in this great space.
