I was able to make an appointment and open an account same day. I interacted with multiple people and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Overall it was a very positive experience and I look forward to doing my banking there.

I see why it has so many 1 star ratings. Called to make an appointment to open up a simple checking account. No availability and the person who answered the phone didn’t seem ecstatic either to even answer the call or ask any probing questions. He was more concerned with notifying me that they closed today in 1 hour. Closing time is 1pm and I called at 11:40am. I also wanted to discuss a credit card and possible HELOC on my home. Will def take my banking needs where their interested in my business and this Santander branch on Newkirk Ave isn’t it.

I see why it has so many 1 star ratings. Called to make an appointment to open up a simple checking account. I had an issue with two checks from my dad's estate account from another bank, so I came here. Alas, my Santander account was frozen. I spoke with a Mr. Hawkins (the manager) who said he'd help me. Needless to say, I never received the help. I had to call Fraud Department to have account unfrozen. Just use this bank for the ATM and that's about it. Do yourself a favor and find use another Santander Bank elsewhere.
