I had a very disappointing experience with this business due to the incredibly rude customer service. From the moment I walked in ,I was met with an unwelcoming attitude. The staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and acted as if assisting me was a burden.
There was no attempt to listen or resolve my concerns, instead, I was spoken to with sarcasm and impatience. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially from a company that relies on customer satisfaction. One staff memeber, toni, was the worst of them all.
I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect and decency. There are plenty of other businesses that know how to treat people properly.

I’ve had multiple unpleasant encounters with the cashier at the Black register, an older woman, around 5’4”, with white or very short hair. Each time, her attitude has been noticeably rude. One time, she asked me to pull something up on my phone, but when I let her know I was still looking for it, she rolled her eyes and spoke to me in a annoyed tone. What stood out to me most was the difference in how she interacted with other customers. She seemed polite and patient with Black customers, but when it was my turn, her attitude shifted. I hope management addresses the issue to ensure all customers are treated with the same level of respect.

Dominic was very helpful with makeup and suggesting for my daughter and I. I felt comfortable shopping. Recently as a Black woman its been hard shopping places without being harassed when I spend my hard earn money. Dominic really help alot especially for my birthday. Thank you.
For the black female at the register I can't say the samething. I was rushed spent over 400.00 and threw everything in one bag. When I ask can I get another bag because the bag may break she told me it's not. However that's a paper bag with alot of items. When ask if any discounts on anything because I was paying with the sephora card she told me no. It's cool everybody can't give great customer service like dominic.

I recently visited a Sephora store and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with the customer service. When I walked in, the store wasn't busy, yet nobody greeted me, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting customers. I struggled to find the right foundation shade and, after some time, approached a staff member near the entrance. She told me it would "be a minute because everyone is busy," which was hard to believe given the situation. I ended up selecting a foundation on my own, hoping it would match. At checkout, when asked if anyone had helped me, I expressed my disappointment, but the cashier remained silent and indifferent. This experience left me feeling justified in returning the foundation if it doesn't work out.
This encounter was particularly surprising because, since moving to New York City about 8 months ago, I've visited several Sephora locations, including Williamsburg, Flatiron, and the Lower East Side, where the staff has consistently been incredibly nice and helpful. As a Sephora customer for over 10 years, this was not the level of service I expected, especially considering the positive experiences I've had at other branches. It's unfortunate that this particular location didn't meet those standards.

Came in to but some products & Needed help as I am very new to doing makeup. lm asking questions & different types of corrector but right away the lady was giving me short answers & didn’t wants to help me understand the utility of each products.she was very impatient & ended up with “ well if You want something here buy this” and its actually not what I was asking her. She completely disregarded my question about correctors & gave me something that I previously told her I had bought 2 days before. Very bad expression with NORA at the borough hall location. RUDE RUDE RUDE !!!

They make it very uncomfortable to shop here. I don’t need people breathing down my neck and constantly asking me do I need help because I know what all the “do you need help” actually means. I don’t steal. I just want to shop in peace like everyone else.

Store was clean and well stocked. Staff in the store were kind and friendly. They asked if I needed any help, and they were respectful and were not pushy when I said that I didn’t need any. Manager was super helpful and kind in helping me resolve an issue with receiving an in-store event sample, and even put in the effort to leave the store to catch me on my way out to make sure that I got it. So appreciated, thank you!
