Terrible Terrible TERRIBLE salon, if you're natural and want to save your curls in the long run please do not come to this salon. I came here two weeks ago and got a silk press, thought everything was going good until I washed my hair and I realized they snuck in relaxer in the shampoo mix. My hair is now completely damaged and chunks yes LITERAL CHUNKS of my hair is coming out. If I can give this salon zero stars I would and I WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE!!!

I am so glad that I found this place!! As a Dominican woman who relaxes her hair regularly, there is nobody on this earth who provides me with the hair care that I need, only other Dominicans. My hair is longer and healthier than ever. If you trust the process of a Dominican blowout, and you don’t refuse rollers like some of these one star reviews did, your hair will come out looking beautiful without ever using a flat iron. Erica is the best and was even able to add clip ins to my very sleek hair, that I was able to keep in for almost two weeks!

I love them. I try to bring my own products, and the treatment can be expensive.

Bad. Wasn’t mentioned on the website not to bring kids to the salon. I had an appointment schedule over a month and tracked from Toronto, Canada. Never again.

Manager is greedy and will overcharge what’s on the website. Went in for due job and upcharged $100 once I was already in seat. They also don’t care for natural hair integrity.

There are only 3 women who do hair very well and took very good care of my hair and only 2 good washers from my experience. I have experienced other hairdressers from here who have caught major attitudes when I expressed they are applying too much heat. I have experienced some women who washed my hair and talked about me when I told them they were two rough and don't scrub my scalp with a comb due to my scalp condition. Because I'm darker skin the I guess they assumed I didn't speak Spanish...lol. and I am Afro Latina. I stopped coming here because of other experiences from friends and family who didn't have good experience and was treated very poorly. Please read all reviews before coming here.

If you have 4b /4c hair texture, please don’t make the mistake of coming here . They aren’t going to do anything but burn your hair off . I wish I could give zero stars . No friendly customer service wasn’t greeted or asked how I could be assisted , and horrible greasy wash and set . Customers were also paying different pricing . I got the same thing as another woman and I was charged 15 dollars more … we also had the same length hair . I didn’t get any special conditioner or anything .Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Let’s start by saying Im black and I have natural hair. 4a type of curls. My experience here was good. I walked in an hour before close on a Sunday and they took meI was charged $95 for wash and set without a deep condition. I think that is kind of pricy but I have a lot of hair that is thick and past my shouldersI got the homemade deep conditioner for $10. The tingling is eucalyptus, not relaxer lol. It felt great and made my hair soft but the wash girl could have been more gentle with detangling and used more deep conditioner. Otherwise she scrubbed my scalp very good. I use grease + oil in my hair and she shampooed 3xErica was my stylist. I didn’t have roller sets of course because my hair is thick and curly, it would be pointless. She sectioned, paddle dried then went in again with a round brush + small flat iron for curls. I didn’t have to ask her to use heat protection ?. She also gave me a trimMy hair reverted when I washed it. I don’t have any straight hairs or any damage but my hair does feel softer

Good for a blow-dry that could easily last a whole week. But, this ONE good thing, is completely overshadowed by all the negative. The service is truly disappointing - they never, or take forever to greet you upon arrival to the salon, and they do not respect scheduled appointments, and try to guilt you into doing rollers if they are backed up with walk-ins. Some of the stylists are very rude - when I came in for my scheduled 8:30pm ET appointment, I was told that I would have to, and I quote, "wait a really really long time", unless I did rollers. Last I checked, it is not the customer's job to accommodate the stylists' schedules if they fail to manage scheduled appointments, walk-ins and customer expectations. There were about eight (8) customers at the salon, so they clearly mis-managed schedules. Clearly, they were walk-ins, but I kept being overlooked, despite having an appointment. And even if all those customers had appointments, the salon clearly did not staff up accordingly, or managed the expectations of the walk-ins.> I arrived at 8:30pm ET sharp for my appointment.> They started to wash my hair at 8:55pm ET.> They finished the wash at 9:10pm ET.> They started to blow out my hair at 10pm ET (ergo, waited in a chair with wet hair for 50-mins).> They finished my blow-out at 10:15pm ET.> AND THE COST FOR A WASH AND BLOW-DRY WAS $78!!!! AND, I STILL GAVE A TIP, BECAUSE I HATE NOT TIPPING PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS WHEN I ONLY PAY $55 OR $65 IN OTHER TOP-NOTCH SALONS.All in all, I was at the salon for a total of almost 2-hours for a wash and blow-dry, AND that was with a scheduled appointment of 8:30pm ET. Goes to show they could've kept my 8:30pm ET appointment, if they didn't prioritize the walk-ins, since my hair only took 15-mins to blow dry.If you have plans/are on a schedule, and have some place to be, skip this place. They're just not reliable with being efficient with their scheduled appointments and getting you out at a reasonable time.I'll be going back to Dry Bar. They at least complete a wash and blow-dry in 45-mins or an hour from start to finish, offer beverages/cookies, are clean, and provide friendly and above all, professional services.Additionally, most of the stylists speak Spanish, which is great, but a few of them love to talk about the customers, thinking they don't speak Spanish (FYI: I'm fluent in Spanish). There's a reason this establishment has a ton of one (1) star reviews. Please do better.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Y'all i'm black and my hair is 4C, i've got shoulder length hair. I came to the salon with my hair puffy and coily, I ask for wash, set and blow dry, they wash my hair I didn't have no problem. When it's time to go in the front for set and blow dry - They didn't put me under the dryers or give me any curling Rod only used the brush and blow dryer ??? that's not the service i've paid for!!!! Also charge me 75. If this is an own black Dominican salon by don't they treat black people with respect the same way they treat people with long and straight hair ??!!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I wish I could give 0 stars. They sneak relaxer into your hair and then burn it during a blow out. If you come here your hair will be damaged.Services: Shampoo & conditioning
