Every time I visit this place, I remember why I said that this will NEVER be MY LCS (local comic shop). This place clearly caters to tourists and lives off its legacy of what it USED to be.
The staff is rude. Don’t let the manager casually walking around asking you if you’re doing alright. It starts to feel more like circling sharks making sure you’re not shoplifting.
Nothing feels accessible to the customers. Anytime I picked anything up or asked to see anything, it came with a less than pleasant attitude, and the feeling like they just had better things to do. I asked about selling books. They had multiple staff just walking around doing nothing. However, the recommendation was to call ahead to have an appointment to have them look at the one book that I brought with me. I didn’t expect them to drop everything, but to tell me to call back when I’m in the shop and they clearly don’t have much going on is borderline ridiculous.
Since my first visit, I have never felt welcomed in this comic shop. I don’t feel like a valued customer after purchasing books to still support a small business, I don’t feel considered when asking to see items, or if they have certain things in stock. Every answer is “it would be helpful if you were more specific.”
I will never plan to come here. I will only stop by out of our convenience because that is how valued I feel when I walk through the store.

A while ago, I visited this comic and toy store. Every time I walked in, I always felt like I was being watched. One time, I was looking at a figure that was supposed to have a glow-in-the-dark feature, so I used my hand to block the light to see if it was real. Suddenly, an employee came out and questioned me in a very suspicious tone, saying, “What are you doing?”
I’ve shopped here many times before, buying both comics and figures, but I have always felt that the same male employee keeps watching me closely. It’s very uncomfortable. I want to mention that the female staff here are very polite, which I appreciate.
If you are running a business like this, please don’t assume male customers are suspicious. Male customers are often your biggest customer base.

The owner with the classes , had no class and allowed an event to correspond today at his store. I was verbally assaulted by a drug person and the owner with glass allowed him to stay in the store. High prices and horrible service.

They usually say when you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all so imma keep it classy:
- maybe don’t follow ppl around the store and constantly ask if they need help (I know you trying to make the sale and what not and you wanna make your prescience known but the way yall go about it most of the time is NOT it and comes off the wrong way. If you know you know. Use your head)
- maybe get rid of that stupid $10 minimum that yall have . As someone who’s been in the scene since 2020 it’s not that serious. And get out from under that rock yall been living under. Almost NO one carries cash these days . I shouldn’t have to make a 10 buck purchase just to get a little trinket
-I hate to be that guy but maybe hire some people that are dedicated to the craft and actually know what the industry is like . I know not everyone knows everything but at least be well versed in surface level stuff. Honestly be so for real
Also the owner is high key a creep. Like come on bro
With that being said the stock and product there is alright. Go there if you want .

If this is the closest comic/figure store for you, DO NOT go here. Overpriced to hell as I’ve found numerous figures and statues online that are at least 50% less than what this store prices them. Disorganized as not a single box of comics are labeled to a specific category or brand. To support the other reviewers on this place, YES the employees do watch and follow you as you shop, as a POC, this was uncomfortable and unnecessary as this place is cramped enough. Only compliments I can give is this place looks clean and signed items are on the cheap side.

I feel so disappointed I spent carfare to go all the way downtown only to be told my comics weren't worth nothing😔 I appreciate the honesty but I wasn't happy at all

One young lady was very sweet, another came off offish, I was their to possibly sell back Comic Books since I was in the neighborhood, as I exiting, the owner MITCH for I've known for a long time, starts gazing and stating at me outside of the store like I took or stole something, I only went to the counter area, I told him to go back in his store and never mind what I was doing outside of the store. I don't recommend for anyone to go their even though he does have nice collectibles, a lot are super overpriced but where isn't today. He only got one star because the first young woman was very sweet

Would not visit if you're colored. They were watching me so much it made me uncomfortable. Comics weren't even good. Will be taking my buissnes elsewhere
