We moved here in July 2023, and it's been awesome. The location just a block from the subway, near tons of restaurants, and midway between Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park; the sunlight through our east-facing, sixth-floor windows; the incredible soundproofing; the high-end appliances; amenities that we use regularly like the pet spa — all wonderful. The best feature, though, is the staff. Whether it's the lobby, the mailroom, maintenance, or whatever, they're all super friendly and helpful.

Made an appointment to view at 3 pm Sunday and came all the way here to be told by the concierge the leasing office is closed on Sundays but the company website “it’s not my website it’s the company’s” allows you to book tours anyway. We were invited to come back the next day. No apology. Concierge was then complaining to coworkers that we’d been upset to come out to the building.

We’ve lived at 475 Clermont for three wonderful years and had an exceptional experience. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, especially the concierge and porter team—Ari, Tyrrell, Michael, Jason, Creilyn, and Francisco. A special thank you to Paula and Giovanni from the building staff; Paula’s creative events for the building foster a great community spirit. The super, Dermot, and handyman, Socrates, are attentive, resolving issues promptly.
The location is perfect: it is centrally located between Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and cultural spots nearby, including the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, and downtown Brooklyn.
We’re sad to leave such an incredible staff and community. The building is always well-maintained, with excellent amenities like the lobby, concierge, gym, playroom, and rooftop. I highly recommend this building to anyone looking in the area!

Be careful renting an apartment from this building. Upon moving out I asked for an in person inspection several times and I was ignored and the inspection never took place. Having an in person apartment inspection is a legal right in NY state.
After moving out they presented me with a huge bill to replace the floors and took this straight to debt collection agency.

Most warm experience to have ever shared with an amazing staff. Every holiday or event was special to me from karaoke to planting tomatoes in a jar. Halloween has been fun, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Our yappy parties have been great for owners and dogs!!! Everyone here gets to enjoy their life!

Great building! I love our apartment, but especially love everyone that works here and supports the tenants. Can't say enough nice things about everyone that works to make the building run, from the top down. They've built a great community of residents and community spaces and are genuinely always doing a great job to make sure it's all going smoothly.

I just moved here and am having a great time so far! Everyone is so friendly, and I feel very welcome. I love having a bigger place and it's a great neighborhood to live in. It's a short walk to the grocery store/so many fun restaurants, which I just love!
