The Art Annex is a wonderful little art studio and rare gem, offering classes for both children and adults. For toddlers, the Saturday morning class features new art stations each time, with a process-based approach that sets it apart from craft classes and lets kids explore their natural creativity. The space feels a little small, which can actually be a plus for keeping little ones focused. For adults, the studio offers a wide range of classes including figure drawing, watercolor workshops, and more experimental sessions. Excellent teachers provide thoughtful challenges without making anyone feel intimidated, meeting students at any level from absolute beginners to talented artists. The facility provides all materials needed. Adult classes are described as almost meditative, a rewarding activity and a boost of inspiration that keeps creativity flowing. The Art Annex also plans creative and enriching children’s birthday parties. Reviews consistently note it is well worth the price and highly recommend it.
My child great enjoys the Art Annex afterschool program. She is always happy to bring home her art projects. The teachers are very attentive and are wonderful both with students as well parents. We are lucky to have a place like this in our community.

We worked with The Art Annex to plan an art birthday part for our now-six year-old. We were so pleased with our decision. Christie and Sam went above and beyond to create the most special day for our child. It was creative, enriching for the children, and easy for us parents. 10/10, highly recommend!
