Scheduled a notary appointment online on the UPS website for 9a on a Tuesday at this location. I carved out time from work and showed up at the scheduled time, only to be told on arrival "oh the notary doesn't show up until 2p. You made an appointment? Oh yeah, that doesn't mean anything. Yeah, you can do anything online." Wow.(By the way, the notary is the owner of this particular location.)Later, when I came after 2p to have my document notarized, the owner refused to serve me mid-notarization because I asked for a printed copy of the pre-notarization UPS agreement I was asked to sign, but the owner demanded I pay 50 cents/page for a copy. When I explained that this was something I didn't feel I should have to pay for, he suddenly refused to serve me and told me I could go to another location for notary services, or come back to the same location tomorrow when there was a chance the person working at that time might be willing to serve me

Great location plus friendly and helpful staff. I typically go on a weekday to drop off packages and don't run into any long lines. Pretty quick in and out.

Make sure you call ahead before you waste your time and carry your heavy package there, just to find it closed. Their opening hours are up to the whims of their employees. Eh, maybe they felt like sleeping a few extra hours that day. Not a bad idea to avoid this location.

My Amazon return was denied. The employee was trying to pin the issue on me. The next day, I went to the 5th Ave UPS Store and they accepted the return as it was. I don’t mind their mistake; I mind his rude behavior towards me.

These guys are big scammers. My roommate and I both had them tell us we had to buy boxes to return things via Amazon when that was not the case.

Just ran into the least helpful person I've met in a long time. Whoever was working Saturday Oct 7, do better next time man.I brought in a return box which was closed but not fully taped. I asked if he would tape it, he said no but he could sell me tape. So I walked home, got tape, taped the box up and went back. He then claimed my tape job wasn't good enough and refused to accept the box. This claim about the tape not being good enough is just a lie - I walked the exact same box over to the post office and they took it no questions asked.Everyone else who works there has been lovely and helpful in the past. Honestly don't understand this guy's problem

Do not go here. The store manager “Ahmed” and his employee Zaman were unhelpful and incredibly rude. I was charged unnecessarily for an Amazon return package.

My experience renting a mailbox at this store was horrible. I initially got a mailbox around September '22. Rent payments can only be made in person. Either the first or second time I went to pay rent the cashier told me he couldn't accept my payment early so I would have to come back. Next, I was late to pay rent in December and paid it in January. After that I continued to receive mail and I checked my mailbox frequently. I paid three months in advance around March to a young female cashier. I come in one day in August and I'm told my account was terminated in January! They never contacted me, despite having my contact info, e.g., phone # and email. They never even asked me to return the key. I continued checking my mailbox through August and they did nothing. Also, when my rent was late they held my packages but never told me. They just kept them until one day I asked what was going on.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. Refers to customers with disrespectful language, doesn’t give clear instructions on steps customers need to take, wasting their time, and generally lacks basic communication skills.When someone gives you a dead stare after a “hello, how are you” you know they don’t care about the job or being respectful to you.

"Hey I have mail to pick up!""We don't have it.""I have a PO Box here...""Whats the tracking number""I have "X" code that's this store right?""Yeah, what time did you get the message?""2:09""209 is the PO Box of blank""No that's the time""No that's so and so PO Box""BUDDY WHAT IS MY PO BOX NUMBER I HAVE A PACKAGE"This is the level of service I go today by Josiah at the UPS Store on fourth today.It's maybe the second most infuriating part of getting the PO Box in the first place. A line had formed while the person was signing me up, and never mentioned at the start of signing up I needed to bring two forms of verification. She also gave me the wrong pricing. AND I HAVE THIS THING.Where like I know what service I'm going to get at the UPS Store. It's not good, it's long and annoying but I got the PO Box here cause I frequent the area and I'm inbetween places.BUT THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE IS JUST.Mr. Manager do you like train an employee? Someone else on here is complaining about Passport photos, they do that at the Riteaid down the street too you know. Like these aren't like "mid level" people I get it, you work at the UPS Store but I don't get why the bare minium here isn't met.Just basic, like bar level training in X, Y and Z.And I heck, I've previously given shout out to independent mail rooms on my Yelp before cause the service is great. Maybe I'm just some mail room weirdo. And out of fear of coming off as a karen... I have come here to write a review that I hope will be seen by a manager. Or hell, maybe just warn people to use use the store closer to ninth that's a lot better run.Anyway 2 stars cause you're getting the service you expect out of the UPS store but boy, it could probably be better if the manager gave a shit to train folks.
