I enjoyed my experience at Torres Hardware. I was able to get what I needed. The gentleman that assisted me was pretty cool, helpful and friendly. The business has been in operation for almost 35 years which is pretty awesome.

Always a pleasure to deal with this business. 9 times out of 10 they have that item that you're pulling your hair out to find. Very knowledgeable and always have time for the customer.

Needed a wing nut removal and called the store before driving to it. Older man picked up and assured they had what I needed for my wing nut removal. After 45 mins of driving to the store I walk in and I see a small older lady sitting n a chair in house clothes and a older man behind the counter as well in regular house clothes. After wasting another 10 mins walking around the store looking for what I needed I came to the conclusion this is a small mom and pops shop witch doesn’t get no traffic so they force you into walking in and wasting more of your time ,If I could give this a - star review I would.Update - after being so upset at the encounter I needed up using a pedestrian and some brute force to I lose the wing nut. 5 star for the Brut force in us that we do t know exist until we need it ??

It is becoming harder and harder to find small Mom and Pop hardware store like Torres Hardware. Torres Hardware is the typical small old fashion Hardware store. The look and feel of the store is what I would believe and old fashion Brooklyn Mom and Pop hardware store would be like. The store is around the size of a mid size to large Brooklyn apartment studio in size, give or take a regular bedroom length in size. Given what I just said about the size, they are limited in what they carry, but for their size the selection is still good. The items in the store are in an orderly manner. The people working within Torres Hardware are very friendly and willing to help, and are also very educated about hardware matters. The items in the store are price clearly for the most part. If you do not see what you are looking for just ask, they might have the item but it might not be displayed because of the size available. The price is not the cheapest; I would state the price is reasonable. This review is only about the hardware store not about the computer repair section they have in the store.
