Honestly the worst customer service. My boyfriend ordered the sony xm4 headphones for a christmas gift. They came in late and in the wrong color. Have been reaching out almost everyday since the package came in and they have been no help. The last guy I spoke to told me he'd send me a return label and that was it. Nothing about sending it in the right color and gave no apology for the mix up.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy, I recently ordered a $120 coffee pot from Tri State Camera, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Instead of receiving the product I paid for, they sent a cheap replacement that clearly didn’t match the value of my purchase.Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, Tri State Camera refused to provide a refund or any meaningful support. Their customer service demonstrated a shocking level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from this company to think twice, as they seem more interested in taking your money than delivering on their promises. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a reliable and reputable seller.

Absolutely a great Camera Store! In fact I cannot understand the negative reviews. The shop is legit, the folks nice, the stuff gets shipped on time and works fine. I got a camera that was not even available in B&H or Adorama etc. I will buy again, so thanks Mark, Steve and all the folks who work here!!

The price was good. The Sony earbuds didn't work properly. I called Tri State and asked if I should return them directly to Sony. They said yes and that they'd extend the 30 day warranty period. Sony returned the earbuds, but the bluetooth connection didn't maintain the pairing after 1 use. I returned them to Tri State, expecting more of a refund than I received. (I paid $185; refund was $142). They said it was "after 30 days and this was a courtesy".This business is disappointing and customer service is not good at all. My attempt to patronize an online store besides Amazon cost me $43 for nothing, as well as weeks coordinating the effort.

This store is not ethical. I bought Sony earbuds from them because I wanted to use other businesses than Amazon. I'm disappointed because the earbuds didn't function correctly. I returned them to Sony at Tri-State's request. They were returned with bluetooth connectivity issues, so I returned them to Tri State for a refund. I paid $185. They refunded $142, "as a courtesy" because the 30 day warranty period was past. It was past because I returned them to Sony first. And their customer service is frustrating, so beware.

I got a super good deal on a lens from them cheapest brand new lens on the Internet. It was just as they described but after a week of having it I wanted to return it because it was out of my price range so I called them up and they were very nice. They said just return it for a full refund they even sent me a free shipping label. and after all that, I decided to keep the lens because it was such a good deal. This company is super professional highly recommended.

This company used to be my ‘goto’ site for buying anything camera gear related. But I don’t know what happened. Recently, they have been lacking in the communication department. Multiple emails have been unanswered; in both their website message email and also replying to their emails sent directly from them. Days turns into weeks and no word. Besides a $1 pending charge. Ordered something and don’t even know if it’s ever coming. Contacted them multiple times to cancel and no replies. Bought from them so many times on eBay, Amazon and also directly from their website. Sadly, this place is no longer a place where I want to continue to invest my money in. Stay away!!

I just now went looking for reviews for this company, TriStateCamera and I see the bad reviews from some people. I, on the other hand have been 100% satisfied with my purchases from this company. 3 years ago I ordered a Canon T7i camera and kit lens. Brand new still in the original box with all the accessories. Zero count on the shutter. I now have as of today, April 30, 2023, 7859 shutter count on my camera. It is a good camera for what I shoot...landscape, birds, and action shots. About 4 days after I ordered the camera, it was delivered! A year later, I ordered a Nifty Fifty lens from TriStateCamera. With the same speedily delivery as before, I am well pleased with this lens. I would not hesitate to order from TriStateCamera in the future for my photography needs. I am in no way associated with this company, but I am a satisfied customer.

Total scam website. They sent a package that's later confirmed lost by the UPS, and they refused to give a refund because they said they've sent the package. Be prepared to wast a month disputing charges with your credit card company!

Beware of these guys. When you call them, they are rude with an East Coast attitude I've filed a complaint with Sony as they are selling unwarranted products as new and filed one with my credit card company as well. The site is advertising "BRAND NEW" products but the products are second hand and do not come with a warranty. I guess they are banking of the fact that people won't call their bluff and research serial numbers after purchase. Time to file a complaint with the BBB in NYC as well.

This is the second camera body I have purchased from Tri State Camera and I had no issues. Canon bodies arrived both times brand new, sealed in boxes, zero issues with payments and shipping, AND it was marked $800 less than Amazon and other sites. I will continue to get my product from them!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. You might have found Tri-State the same way we found Tri-State…they offer deals on cameras and lenses that other stores do not. We purchased 2 lenses from them, both items claiming to include warranties and be brand-new, unopened items. We received a phone call a few days later from a store rep (the same as so many other reviewers did). The rep named Gary said “by the way, one of the items you ordered isn’t in stock, but it will be arriving in about one week. If you still want it, we won’t charge you until it ships.” I agreed and then he then tried to convince me that I needed to buy filters and adapters to make the lens fit my camera body as well as their personal company warranty on our items, but when I told him I don’t need any of that he seemed clearly agitated. The VERY NEXT DAY, we received another phone call from Tri-State. When we called them back, they gave us the exact same speech as the day before…”you need to buy these filters and adapters and our warranty”. We said “no, you called us yesterday. We don’t want them.” AS SOON as we hung up the phone, my card was immediately charged for both lenses even though they said they wouldn’t charge me for the out-of-stock one until it shipped. Well, a week later, I received the first lens. I already knew something was wrong as soon as I opened the box. The actual Sony box I received was completely damaged. When I opened it up, the lens itself was very clearly used, had chipped and broken pieces and was clearly not new. There was no US warranty card inside and the fine print revealed that this was a European lens meant to be distributed in Europe only. I contacted Sony immediately to check the warranty status and they said that I received a “gray market” product and it would not be covered under warranty. I sent an email to Tri-State immediately with evidence and NEVER received a response (it has now been 2 weeks). I immediately opened a dispute with my credit card company. As of today, I still have not received the other lens that they charged me for and no response back from them. They won’t even answer my phone calls. This store is a COMPLETE SCAM. Please never purchase from them.
