What a nice place to shop! Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Bought something that didn't work for me and it was no problem to bring it back. There's also something endearing and retro about this shop - lots of merchandise, knowledgeable employees, and general good vibes!

Walked in with a picture of what I wanted because someone sent me on an errand to buy something for a festival. The guys working this shop are so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If they don’t have something out in the open then they definitely have it in their storage room. What really made my experience top notch was that the guy helping me asked what I needed the item for, and upon hearing the reason actually recommended the cheaper-priced option because I “didn’t need the heavy duty version.” That’s really great service. Probably the best local, family-owned shop I’ve ever been to in NYC; I wasn’t expecting it to be a hardware shop of all things.
