This post office is the definition of unprofessional. The staff here are very rude. One was on her phone the entire time and barely even looked up to answer my questions. Literally no words, just ignoring customers like we don’t exist. There are only about two employees working, which means the line is always long, and every single time I come in they act like they don’t even want to be there. Honestly, just go home if you don’t want to help people.
This isn’t my first bad experience here, and judging from all the other reviews, I’m clearly not the only one. It’s sad that there’s barely any good reviews, probably because the service has been consistently terrible for years.

The worst experience I’ve ever had.
I walked in and greeted the person I assumed could help me — a very young woman who turned out to be incredibly rude. I don’t have much experience shipping packages, so I was hoping for at least a little bit of guidance. I had two packages already sealed, but I noticed one was slightly open on the edge. I politely asked if I could borrow some tape. She responded in the most unpleasant way, saying they don’t “give away” tape, that if I wanted some, I had to buy it — and that she had no obligation to “gift” tape to anyone.
After being spoken to like that, I simply decided to leave and walked away from the counter, leaving my packages behind. That’s when she began screaming at me in the most humiliating way, saying I couldn’t just leave them there and had to drop them off at another window. She was yelling so loud that it was shocking. I felt completely humiliated, and just took my packages and dropped them off where she told me.
It was painfully clear that she hates her job but that doesn’t give her the right to treat others with such hostility and disrespect. We all have bad days, but working with the public requires basic human decency.
I don’t understand how people with absolutely no sense of courtesy or professionalism are hired to work with the public. What should’ve been a simple visit to my local post office turned into a nightmare. It’s upsetting that something so basic has to feel so hostile because of someone who clearly shouldn’t be working there.

Couldn’t provide me with a Dolly neither a freakin Pen and didn’t even accept my money order like wth they said go to a diff one because there’s no cash in the register

If I could give zero stars I would - save your time and money! I was the only person in the building when there were 2 associates at the window and waited for a pen so long that there was a line by the time I could even fill in the paper.
I was patient and continued to wait. There was only one associate now and the line grew to over 5 people.
Then the young lady who was helping me did not say a single word to me because she was on the phone disputing Klarna charges.
She couldn’t read and took 20 minutes to send ONE PACKAGE! At this point I should’ve been paid to send my package because I wasted literally almost an hour of my day.
Terrible customer service and if I knew her name I would’ve escalated it to management. Beyond unprofessional to be disputing charges with her bank while on the clock - when she’s supposed to be providing a service. Like what did I even pay for?
I will never return here.

They are terrible with putting the mail in the right boxes the work put everyone mail in a mailbox with no apartment numbers all the building mailed is in these empty maile boxes and the post worker refuse to give us the mail or take it back to the office to sort it out he said it's not his job

Don’t trust this location. The drop off box probably never get checked. My IRS paper return was never sent out. Also they can’t deliver the mail properly to peoples correct address.

I personally didn’t have a problem this was my first time going here the lady was helpful with no attitude , wasn’t really to busy I was a little spooked by the reviews so I made sure I knew what I needed to do so it could get done

The post office is absolutely the worst. They have stole my packages numerous times. We ordered a treadmill and they said delivered in mailbox. Like how can you put a treadmill in a mailbox. We went to complain and there was no help. I also ordered a magazine and says delivered. I look on ring camera no one never came to my door step. Never even seen a truck in my block for that day. They are thieves and it’s really said. You’re supposed to be honest and help bring the community packages and they steal it. They need to be shut down.

The mailbox for my address has been broken for the past two and a half months. There have been no attempts to communicate when it will be fixed. As a result, residents of Harmony Park Association in Brooklyn, NY who have been used to recieving mail 6 days a week, have been relegated to picking up the mail twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-1pm) from our local post office. While this is a minor inconvenience, what feels intolerable is recieving a communication via email that important pieces of mail have been delivered for pickup, then arriving only to be told that the mail cannot be granted, or worse that the mail cannot be found. This issue is exacerbated by a lack of communication about when the mailbox will be fixed. It is almost 3 months since we have all been dealing with this issue. To make matters worse, I have had elderly neighbors tell me that they have arrived at the post office mere minutes outside of the pickup window only to be denied being granted their mail. This system is terribly broken and important information is not reaching people in a timely or courteous manner. It is incomprehensible that you would treat people this way. I urge you to please review this process. I will be filing a complaint with the Postmaster as well.

I'm surprised because this location is always full of confusion nd packed. I was in and out without issues. I will go back at the same time 4 now on. Staff still have all the attitudes in the world

I've been here a couple of times in the last year or so. The staff has always been super nice and helpful. The line moves steadily.
