The worst Post Office I have ever seen.
All the personal are soo rude! I’m shocked! How it can be possible to be treated like that!? It’s seems like they chose in purpose the the rudest, the most gruff and vulgar staff to manage this post office that it’s soo inefficient.

Never thought I would be reviewing a post office on Google maps, but here we are. I had possibly the worst and rudest customer experience I’ve had in my entire life. The lady working there was incredibly rude to me, ruined my day to be honest. Will avoid at all costs.

The worst USPS location I’ve visited in New York. Staff were consistently rude and impatient when asked normal questions. When I addressed an employee’s rudeness, she responded by telling me she wouldn’t mail my package. I was able to submit it through the self-service section, but was unsure whether it would still be processed at all.
This is the first time in ~8 years that I’ve left a public review for any business. I strongly recommend using another USPS location if you can.

wow the reviews aren’t lying. waited an hour for something as simple as picking up a package. the guy barley looked then told me they didn’t have it and told me to wait at a different window. waited at that window for an hour to be told to call a number that they could have given me after the first hour i waited. Worst customer service experience of my life

Been to this post office a handful of times and it’s usually a seamless process, whether I wait in line or use the machine however both machines were down so I went in the regular line which went by fast but the associate Bob was a little aggressive and snarky when communicating. I know he was just trying to explain things I didn’t know but the approach was a little rude.

I recently had to pick up several packages from this post office due to a failed delivery attempt. The items had no issues getting to the city; they were tracked all the way to the local facility. But, because the carrier didn’t leave them in a secure location and didn’t include my name on the redelivery slip, I had no way to prove they were mine online. I tried calling the number listed… only to be greeted by a hang-up loop or endless hold music. No one ever picked up. Ever.
So I went there in person. Explained everything politely. Showed ID. Showed my building address. Even offered to provide a lease agreement. But nope. I was told that unless I could verify the tracking number they never gave me, they couldn’t release the packages. The system wasn’t helpful, the staff weren’t willing to problem-solve, and there was zero flexibility or empathy despite the fact that my name and address matched everything except one tracking number.
What makes it worse is that the clock is ticking. If the packages aren’t claimed within a certain time, they get returned to sender. And guess what? No one’s helping stop that from happening. It feels like you’re trapped in a bureaucratic loop designed to fail you.
It’s honestly embarrassing that in 2025, this is how mail is handled in one of the biggest cities in the world. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

This is by far the worst post office I’ve ever visited. I ship a lot of packages and typically use post offices in Westchester and Putnam County, where the staff are professional and efficient. Coming here was a shock. The employees at the counter are consistently rude, make up their own “rules” that no other post office enforces, and deliver them with eye-rolling and aggressive tones. Example: I was told I couldn’t use an Amazon box to ship a package—something I’ve done for years at countless USPS locations without issue. If it were a real rule and politely explained, fine—but that’s not the case here. Zero customer service. Avoid this location unless it’s your absolute last option.

seriously trust the reviews and avoid this place. their self service machines were down and the rude east asian man at the counter refused to print a label for me. I’m not going to write he address on the box in pen as if this we medieval times. he kept just repeating “I will not print a label for you” without offering alternatives.
if your self service machines are down, printing me a label after I wait in line is the least you can do.

What’s the point of self-service kiosk if most of the functions are out of service

I had a 2:15 PM passport appointment for my children and myself and arrived early at 1:45 PM. We were told by Bob, the “lead clerk,” that only one family was ahead of us. However, we ended up waiting for over an hour and a half with no update or assistance.
During this time, I observed Bob helping a young woman who arrived after us. Not only did he prioritize her over waiting families, but he was also behaving inappropriately—flirting with her and attempting to get her phone number. This was highly unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness.
When I politely asked Bob about the delay after 90 minutes of waiting, he became defensive, dismissive, and ultimately refused to assist us further. I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment, and the experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
Because of Bob’s unprofessional behavior and complete lack of respect for people’s time, I will not return to this post office. This kind of conduct should not be tolerated in a federal service environment.
