If you need to pick up a package here, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. The staff is rude and slow. They never attend to the package pickup window, so you have to raise your voice to get their attention in the back. Apparently, it’s inconvenient to ask for help when most of the staff is in the back laughing. Every time I come here, I feel like the staff is giving me attitude. It’s clear that they don’t want to be here, and it feels like they’re taking it out at the customer.

The worst postal service ever! The wait time is ridiculously long, only 1-2 windows are open at most and the employees are moving at a snail pace. When you get to the window, they give you an attitude and move even slower on purpose. Always 30 min to an hour to mail an envelope! Unacceptable!!!!

I arrived at the Vanderveer post office at 5:45,pm and gates were down. It is supposed to close at 6pm. There isn't even a post box outside. Post master please improve service for this community.

The worst post office in the history of post offices. The line is always long. They are ridiculously slow in processing transaction. You’re lucky if you go there and they have more than one clerk working the windows. They never have boxes for shipping readily available. You have to ask for one at the window then go back to wait on the line. Terrible. I’ve lived in the confines of 11210 my entire life and I avoid this post office like the plague. USPS needs to do better

I had a customer say they did not receive a package. I called the Vanderveer location and got Mesha. OMG she was amazing. She helped me verify the delivery, contacted the carrier to verify delivery and gave me exactly what to do next. I can’t say thank you enough!
