Very satisfied with the alterations of my APC selvedge jeans and with the professionalism displayed by Mr. Malone and his staff. Following his suggestions with the tapering and hemming was well worth it. Thank you WGC.

They have hemmed two pairs of my Samurai jeans, both times they did an excellent job with a quick turn around and very professional work.

Maurice and co. are great. I've had plenty of work come through and each time the work (whether a taper or hem) has been exactly to my specifications. And, more importantly, they're the only place that I've gone to that knows how to deal with selvedge denim - consistently.I know that some others have had some trouble in the past - but I've found that mostly came down to communication. Every time that I've called, come in, tried on, measured, or picked up, it's been met with understanding and a conversation. They're clear with you if you ask.

Their Chainstitch hem is the best around! High quality with many options and great attention to detail. Paying for rush service was definitely the way to go— I can’t believe they turned my jeans around so fast! I will definitely be shipping them my jeans for alterations and hemming in the future!

This is my 3rd time sending clothes (pants/tshirts) in for alterations with wgc that I feel confident now to leave a review. Their work is Superb. When I first received my orders, I would be met with confusion thinking that they had not been worked on because the hems looked just like their original state. The attention to detail is immaculate. The turn around time can be quite hefty, my most recent order took about 2 months (Was told they had a lot of tshirts, so something to keep in mind if that’s what you will be sending). But it’s definitely worth the wait for that high quality finish. I’ll continue to send in more clothes in the future!

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect going in but they saved a pair of Levi’s that I wasn’t sure were save-able. On top of that they are super nice, very cool/knowledgable, and timely. This is the type of business NYC needs more of. Can’t wait to buy some denim from them down the line. Can’t recommend them enough! Thank you!

I hate to write a negative review, but this must be done, and it unfortunately echoes the experience of those who have left one-star reviews in the past.I'd wanted to get some shirts and pants altered, and I'd found WGC via Google. They seemed top of the line and professional. When I visited their space, I found that to be the case. I decided to have a shirt and pair of pants altered. The shirt was quick and great. So great that I brought another shirt to them. Again, quick and great. My pants were another story. They were supposed to be done in 4-6 weeks. When I went to pick up my second shirt, they said they were very behind. I said that's fine, how bad can it be?Oh, it was bad.I didn't hear anything from them at all. No communication. I emailed via their support box on the site, heard nothing. Called, and then was told they'd never received it, but that I'd hear back that day about whether they'd already begun working on my pants. I did hear back from them, and, after three months, they hadn't even begun to work on the pants. So I asked for them back and a refund.I picked up the pants, the owner apologized, which I appreciated, and he said I'd receive my refund a few days later. It's been two weeks, I've emailed multiple times, and have heard nothing. I don't have time to play these games, so I just disputed the charge via my credit card company. To be fair, I do think they're very backed up (supposedly the dude who does alterations took a month off without any notice), and they're generally nice in person/on the phone, but I can't deal with the lack of communication, especially when missing deadlines by a long shot, and then have to basically hound them for my refund.Wishing them all the best and I do hope things improve, but come on...

I had a lot of holes to patch and random alterations I wanted them to make. Changed the collar, added a zipper and a button. Lots of areas were blown out. They kept the vibe of what I was going for in check. Super nice people. They really know what they’re doing. Highly recommend them if you have some denim issues or are looking for some stylish threads

I went in to get multiple repairs done on one of my favourote jeans. Not only the quality of the repairs were great, but the in person customer support was stellar. Corinne was very helpful and she was a pleasure to interact with. I would definetely go back for some more repairs. Reasonable prices too!!

I gave them specific measurements for my jeans alteration. They did not follow those measurements. They would not take responsibility for their errors and refused to issue refund. One of their excuses (within numerous emails) was "one inch doesn't make a difference." This from a tailor is pretty darn ridiculous. Now I have a pair of jeans I cannot wear and I'm out the cost of the jeans and what I paid Williamsburg for the bad alteration. Bad business and it's clear they don't care about good customer service.

I first purchased a pair of custom jeans about 2 years ago. The wait was about 4 months. During this time the team at Williamsburg Garment reached out several times and updated me about my order. They even offered a discount on a future pair because of the wait. I was in an accident which ruined my first pair of jeans so I decided to order a new pair. I ordered this pair 11/6/21, I did receive an email last week that the jeans had shipped but I still haven’t seen them. The only correspondence between us this time has been initiated by me. I was told they would ship in February, I was told the would ship in June, and lastly was told they would ship in October. I guess we will see if they show up this week.

I have used these guys a couple times for altering jeans (hemming, adding belt-loops etc.). I have got to say, that I love the service they provide. Keep in mind they may take a little while to turn it around, but just know that the end product is worth the wait, and they do a very good job. Lets be real, if you need work done on your jeans, you aren't going to be wearing them until they are the way you want them, so be calm, kind and try to have a little patience (Breath). The work will soon get done and before you know it your garments back at your door! I have some more work for them and they do a good enough job to wait in line for! Sometimes they are very quick too. Stay classy out there people!

waited 10 -14 days for my alteration then I emailed asking when they will be done, I was told they are working on them. 2 weeks later I take out a dispute with my credit card company because nothing was done a month and still no jeans. they try to contact me over the phone I don't answer they try a few more times I don't answer I emailed them, and I expect emails back. I was told by them in a email that talking on the phone is so much easier for them. lol. do not do business with this mess of a company. I'm sure the amazing reply from the owner hypes up the business. I'm not the only one who has left bad reviews on the supposedly made in America jeans boutique that gets them all from China. it took more than twice as long as their web site states and still was not completed.

The best job in America, I was surprised, my pants fit better than ever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
