Need to keep politics out. Not a welcoming store if you're a certain race.

2023 update: This place has completely changed and is now the best wine store on Franklin. I don’t know if they got a new buyer or new distributor or something but their selection is now really excellent. Night and day compared to when they opened.

Cute little neighborhood bottle shop with a decent selection and price options. Staff ranges from indifferent to rude. Is a 'hello' or 'can I help you find something' too difficult to muster?

The staff at this store are very kind, pleasant and responsive especially Jeremy and Mark, the manager. Please support this business because they're worth it.

Very cute liquor store with a nice selection of wine and cocktails in a can. Appreciate being able to browse and select myself as the bulletproof barriers in Brooklyn liquor stores are just depressing. Based on another review I went to the cheap section and got a fabulous zinfandel for 13 bucks.

This is our go-to in our neighborhood and you'll see us there at least 2 times a week; we absolutely love their wine (and even booze section), the selection is great and diverse. I'm deducting one star, however, because they don't offer any kind of frequent buyer / loyalty perk, and that's a big downer for very regular customers.

One of my favorite neighborhood wine shops! They recently reopened after being walk-up counter only throughout most of COVID. I much prefer being able to browse since I never know what I'm going to buy when I walk in, but the walk-up option was much more approachable than some other local shops. At Winot, the staff is always super helpful and kind, whether you want advice on which bottles to get or if you just are having a chat while paying. Price wise amongst many of the local spots, I also think Winot offers the largest array of options, whereas some other stores push the limits of what I'm willing to spend. There's certainly something for everyone here!

There was a bit of confusion between some advertising and my order but they quickly and graciously resolved the matter. My wine arrived as expected. Good customer service and some great wine!

I recently worked with Wino(t) on a virtual wine tasting event for a nonprofit I run. The staff was very communicative and easy to work with in addition to being extremely generous with both their time and wines. They organized sourcing and shipping the wines and - somehow, during this chaotic holiday season - all wine tasting participants across the country received their wines with time to spare before the tasting! They also offer a really interesting selection of unique wines and spirits, and have a very user friendly website! Highly recommend!

Wino(t) is my favorite wine shop in Brooklyn. They have a great selection of wine at various price points. The staff is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about wine. Every wine the manager and owner have recommended has been amazing. I also love that they offer same day delivery, which has been a life saver during covid.

This is a nice little wine store that has a small but well curated wine selection. However, the manager does not treat people well, especially if they belong to minorities. I normally don't like to give negative reviews but this manager has accused my boyfriend of being rude with his staff (while not pointing out how or when this happened) and going drunk to the store (he hardly drinks, so this is just impossible). On another occasion, while we were buying, a black woman approached us and tried to give him her husband's business card, who worked as an electrician. He refused to take it and was clearly distressed by someone who was just looking for a gig in very hard times. Probably they just care about business but wino(t) should be more aware that there is a community in Crown Heights, and that this neighborhood is not just Franklin Av. I won't buy wine here again and I encourage you to support black owned businesses.

When I visited last month they were still a walk-up only wine shop where you can't yet browse inside, but the staff is ever attentive, getting you exactly what you need and are great with recommendations as needed. I tried a most excellent Gruner Veltliner picked out by the staff, as well as a rose and couldn't have left happier.

Selection is dope, they treat people nice. This is what all neighborhood wine shops should be.
