WNYC Transmitter Park is a peaceful and charming spot located next to the East River, ideal for relaxation and enjoying stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, especially at sunset. The park features a small gated playground for young children and offers plenty of open grass areas, benches, and stairways for visitors to sit and admire the scenery. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. While there are no bathrooms available, the park provides a fishing area off the pier, where visitors can fish without worrying about getting snagged. Many guests appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and the occasional presence of street musicians. The surrounding area boasts various restaurants, pubs, cafes, and boutiques, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Although some visitors noted the lack of shade, especially during hot summer days, WNYC Transmitter Park remains a highly recommended destination for those looking for a quiet escape close to the city.

Nice little park to relax at, or walk your dog. Overlooks the water. You can also hop on the ferry one block over.
