Hannaford Supermarket is a well-maintained and clean grocery store that offers a convenient shopping experience. Customers appreciate the wide variety of high-quality, fresh foods, including produce, meats, and seafood, which are consistently fresh and well-stocked. The store’s layout is organized, and the bright, well-lit environment makes shopping enjoyable. Staff members are courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing good product advice and friendly service at checkout. Many customers find the selection of unique items and frozen foods interesting, and they enjoy checking out different brands and products. Due to the closure of other nearby grocery stores, Hannaford has become the main shopping destination for many in the area, with some noting the limited availability of national brands in certain sections. Customers express overall satisfaction with the store’s cleanliness and stock variety. The store's emphasis on quality and freshness, especially in produce, fruits, fish, and deli meats, stands out. However, there are occasional comments about the bagging service, with some noting issues like improper packing of cold and heavy items. One unique aspect mentioned is the desire for community involvement in fixing potholes around the store, aiming to improve the parking lot and surrounding roads for a safer, bump-free shopping experience. Overall, Hannaford Supermarket is valued for its cleanliness, quality, helpful staff, and wide selection, making it a preferred choice for grocery shopping in the area.
