Beware of Bob. Nice salesman at the start, but as soon as it’s out of his hands he has no problem being rude to a customer no matter the customer’s dissatisfaction with the product that was delivered. This company apparently has no problem telling the customer “too bad” instead of standing behind their product and helping to remedy the situation. You’re better off going to a different company that will stand behind their products and treat their customers with respect.

I ordered a couch in Feb of 2021. I knew because of the pandemic things would take a long time. I was given a 20-26 week waiting period for the couch to be completed. Multiple phone calls were made every month to check on the status with multiple excuses given from lack of springs, lack of foam and lack of truck drivers for shipping. One year and a few weeks later it finally arrived!! Delivered with no problems......until I sat on it to hear a spring type clunk noise. Calvins sent 2 repairmen out to verify that it does indeed make a noise. Those repairmen cannot repair it. It would have to be sent back to King Hickory for another few months. I am done! Calvins won't stand by their product. Asked to replace it completely....nope. Asked for a discount...nope. Only option is to send it back for a few months. Not doing that! Thanks for nothing. Never will get my business again!!

Leather gallery salesperson, Karri made shopping for sofa and loveseat very uncomfortable. She will attach herself to u and have you picking colors for the first sofa you show interest in. She is totally driven to make a sale, not interested in making the shopping experience pleasant. We visited the leather gallery twice and she was obnoxious both times. Took our business elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE - the old saying hit home for me! Retiring in the summer of 2021 I wanted to make a lasting furniture purchase. Decided to go all out and go to Calvin's Furniture Store February 2021 to make my purchase. Family owned and operated for 75 years, this showed me it was a quality store, so I thought. Bought a couch and two chairs. Picked out material and was told July it would be ready. July came and did not hear from Calvin's so I called them. Was told the manufacturer was out of foam so it now looks like September for the furniture. September came and no call from Calvin's again so I called. I was told the same story - no foam. At this point I asked to speak with Bob (owner and also waited on us) for a refund. He stated store policy is not to issue refund. Manufacturer did not have foam how could my furniture be made? Yet he did not offer a solution to this problem. December came and I had not heard anything from Calvin's. You can guess what I did - again - called Calvin's. I was told "oh yes, your couch and one chair are here. The other chair has a back order issue on a mechanisium that is needed." WHAT - partial order was in and NO PHONE CALL! Two of the office staff had stated to me that they were too busy and short staffed to make phone calls. I was offered free delivery for the two items that were in if I wanted. I ordered a couch and two chairs - that is what I wanted. February 2022 came and I picked up the phone again for my call (1 year from purchase date). Same story - back order issue. March 2022, called again. Chair is done and ready for delivery - March 14, 2022. That day came and went without any news from Calvin's. I called yet again on the 18th and was told by Bob that the chair is leaving factory today BUT due to trucking issues and COVID he could not give me a delivery date. My story finally comes to an end on April 26, 2022 when all the furniture was delivered. I asked for the delivery fee to be waived but was told with the high cost of gas now that cannot be done. I would not recommend or shop at Calvin's again. For a family owned and operated business (75 years) they sure have lost what the original generation showed. I realize that there where supply chain issues, however, customer service was no where to be found after purchasing the furniture. They have your money - deal done for them - very frustrating for the customer

Great quality furniture. Staff was super helpful and very pleasant. We highly recommend Calvins. We bought an Amish made bedroom set at a great price.

You basically get what you pay for. I had issues but they were taken care of and everything was fine in the end! It took longer then I would have liked but as long as it got done.

They have a great selection of furniture and many eclectic, one of a kind decor pieces. I will be working with Dave to order some pieces just for me. No pressure and great education if you need it. ? Buy local!

I was so glad to discover Calvin's. They have beautiful showrooms, a huge selection of furniture, especially leather chairs, and excellent salespersons.I got a great price on a gorgeous leather recliner. Their recliners are head and shoulders above what La Z Boy offers.

We ordered a sofa the first week of 2021 . We have yet to receive it. The manager Cindy was extremely condescending and rude when I wanted to know the status of the order and was given vague assurances that it would be coming soon. No word yet , no compensation of any kind for our inconvenience, and now 10 days later, we've heard nothing. They have our deposit, we have nothing yet!

We ordered two chairs at a total of 1,700.00 in December and have yet to receive our furniture. When asked for a return on our money they refused. Horrible customer service I will never set foot in that store again and I advise others to do the same.

Bought a sleeper sofa from Calvins not even 3 years ago. Less than a year of owning it all the cushions were sinking in causing it to be very uncomfortable. Now the frame of the pull out bed is ripping the lower portion of the couch when pulled out and in. Calvins customer service person very cold and dismissive claiming all they can do is send a service person out for $125 with no guarantee they can fix the issue. When speaking to her on the phone offered no help or even a simple apology. I for one, never take the time to review anything, but this experience was so bothersome I’m taking the time to do it. Will not be buying from them again when furnishing my new home.

We visit Calvin's furniture whenever we are looking for something new for the house. They have a wide variety of styles to choose from. Everyone is are very professional and helpful. Furniture prices are great.

Have been a customer with Calvin's for over 40 years. Always friendly and knowledgeable sales staff. Excellent value for well made furniture.
