Chris is top-notch! My wife and I, at 55 and 53 years old, are in the best shape of our lives! We thought we had tried everything and resigned to the fact that nothing seemed to work for us. At least until we met Chris. We’re down over 60 pounds collectively and we both feel like we’re in our 30’s again. The best part is that this is a manageable program that we plan on continuing with long term! Highly recommend.

I began working with Chris and Gina a little over a year ago and I can honestly say doing so has transformed my understanding of “healthy”. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable on exercise and nutrition, and his incredible enthusiasm for both is contagious. I enrolled in both the fitness and nutrition programs and both were very well planned out and engaging. In the group sessions, Chris offers a tremendous amount of individual attention. I am approaching 40 and feel the best I ever have, and now my kids have taken an interest in fitness as well. I would strongly recommend Fithouse to anyone seeking a long term and sustainable approach to fitness.

I did crash body transformation programs in the past and always put back on the weight I lost in a matter of months. Chris explained to me why that is and got me started on a plan that is scientific and maintainable. Down 90 pounds to date and I can bench press my own bodyweight. I don’t have knee or hip pain anymore and am stronger than I was in high school. He changed my life.

I physically feel better now in my retirement than I did in my working years thanks to Chris. He taught me the importance of strength and maintaining my muscle as I age as well as a maintainable nutrition plan that I’m able to stick to. My wife may even still be attracted to me!

Love everything about Chris and Gina. This is the only program that has ever worked for me long term. It is refreshing to see the difference between the training we do versus the type of BOOTCAMP training I was used to. My body has never felt healthier and I have lost 30 pounds and kept it off. Been coming for years. Family, community environment. Chris cares about his customers and even lets me bring my daughter when I can't get a babysitter. Have lost over 30lbs but even better, I've kept it off for over two years and am still losing. Am a better and more active mom for my kids. Thanks everyone at Fithouse!

Chris Rombola is the BEST trainer I’ve ever had. I trained in multiple gyms before finding him, and honestly I hit the jackpot when I found him. Before meeting Chris, I had lost weight with a nutrition program from another gym, but I was just skinny fat. The boot camp style workouts I was doing at the other gym were not getting me to where I wanted to be.

I used to feel intimidated when I walked into a gym. I was overwhelmed by the people and by ALL of the different machines (I’m more so used to a yoga studio). The entire staff at Fit House truly makes me feel like I am a part of the FIT Family. The people in general who I train with (people who I’ve never met before) makes working out more fun and more motivating. Everyone is so friendly!!! (Yes, I’m being serious). You’ll hear laughter, you’ll see smiles, you’ll see sweat, you’ll hear grunts, and you’ll see tears. Some days it’s so hard for me to peel off that band aid and step into the gym. However, since we are all there to motivate and support one another, this makes that thought dissolve immediately and I’m ALWAYS grateful that I pushed myself (which is half the battle). It’s a smaller gym size (which I love) and I receive the one on one attention that I need. Both Chris and Gina are phenomenal. I am not the easiest person to train (I tend to feel overwhelmed and need more guidance and modeling). Both Gina and Chris are patient, supportive, and are excellent trainers. I never feel intimidated or like I’m being talked down to. When I hurt my knee, both were so accommodating and made different exercises for me to do. They actually listened to me and tailored my training session based on my abilities. I love learning more about proper form when using weights and machines. I love seeing how much stronger I am now both mentally and physically. I’ve noticed a huge difference (strength wise) when I have my yoga practice. I have re-gained my energy, my confidence, and truly have never felt better! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I was always shy about getting a personal trainer. On a friend’s recommendation, my husband and I took the plunge. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. With Chris’ guidance, I lost over 55 pounds and Tom lost 30. Even better, we took control of our lives again, and made a lifestyle change that we now pass on to our children.

I trained with Chris for over a year. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the results that I would have liked. The training sessions are EXTREMELY expensive for small group training. Also, I trained with a variety of people of different ages, genders, and body types. Clients’ needs are all different, but Chris always had us doing the same workouts. Which would be fine if the sessions weren’t more expensive than individual training almost anywhere else. I also wish he had kept track of our weights and our reps. There were also people that Chris seemed to spend more time with in the groups, and it often seemed more like socialization than training. I felt for the money I was spending and the heavy weights I was lifting, I should have been receiving more individualized attention. Everything outside of my sessions cost extra too. My “individualized” workout and eating plan sent through e-mail was the exact same as the one everyone else received. Beware the contract as well because it never specifies what will happen if you are injured or cannot attend sessions due to medical or family issues. From what I’ve gathered, it’s extremely difficult to get out of a contract. He’s even taken clients to small claims court! Finally, before joining I would check anyone’s certifications, as they don't appear to be listed on the website. Bottom line: not worth the cost; you're better off doing group classes somewhere else for a quarter of the cost.

I have had the privilege of working with Chris and Gina for many years. They are experts at what they do and the knowledge I have gained from working with them has been invaluable. Throughout my years with Chris, he has been extremely professional and shown flexibility in scheduling and making up missed sessions, for which I am so grateful for as a busy mom and military spouse. I am a stronger and healthier individual because of my time with them.
