I used to frequent this location on Delaware Ave in Tonawanda. Today was the first time I have been back there in a while and I was very disappointed a lot of potholes in the parking lot went inside and the cashier was definitely not a friendly person I am a shopper at tops Wegmans Aldi's Price rite I have to say Save-A-Lot seriously disappointed me they do not have good prices anymore a lot of their prices are higher than tops and Wegmans very disappointed some of their meats in the meat department were turning brown

This chain is usually hit or miss, a good stop for cheap essentials: milk butter eggs abd bread. All off brand. Produce isn't the freshest, but you get what you pay for. Overall, clean and organized. And a good stop for basics, nothing specific or fancy.

What is going on with this location? I used to love shopping there. But, these last few weeks I've been noticing that this particular store's quality has been going down. Some of the food's rotten..There's things broken & there's mold. Customer service & staff are still great but, I still have to give a low score. Because, the quality of the store itself is suffering & needs to be addressed

I rarely shop at save a lot but I never had a bad experience they have a good selection of the basic food items I need at a reasonable price.

My family and I are long time customers of this store, but sadly, that is now going to change. The prices are sky high and food quality poor. You can’t buy produce at this location either, because it’s almost always rotten (or close to it) and covered in flies. My husband and I were shopping in the meat department just the other day, and the beef looked spoiled! I could not believe my eyes - what kind of management lets spoiled food stay out on the shelves for customers to pick through?? There is a sitcom called ‘The Middle’ about a low income family’s day-to-day goings on; they shop at a store called The Frugal Hoosier that sounds an awful lot like this Save - A- Lot, with meat that “needs to be eaten within the hour”!

99% of the meat for sale is rotten or will be within 24 hours. Produce section is entirely covered in flies, mold and disgusting smells. The store manager sits on the food cases to “cool off” aka sweaty a$$ cheeks on the food. Employees smoke cigarettes directly at the front door IN their meat cutting coats (not supposed to be outside the butcher room). Cashiers are slow because they cannot handle the register. This place is revolting, a health hazard and not worth a cent. Save yourself the food poisoning!

Purchased some Bob Evan’s mashed potatoes/ sour cream & chives just yesterday! Get home of course I threw the recent away! These mashed potatoes had an expiration date of JUNE 5,2024! Make it make sense! Yesterday was JUNE 10’ 2024! Do better SAVE A LOT!
