This business is solid. Your confidence is heightened from the moment you walk in and builds to a high level upon speaking with the highly qualified staff. I don't think it gets any better than this when you find yourself in a place with computer issues you cannot resolve on your own.

Used Andrew’s shop this summer to facilitate transfer of files between an old MacBookPro and a new MacBookAir. Also asked him to do the same between an older iMac and a new one with a concurrent Brother printer upgrade. The turn around time was good and my requested house call to install the iMac and printer with some minor troubleshooting went very well. These folks know their stuff, are reliable and professional. Glad to support a local small business and recommend them highly.

I bought a new iMac since my old one was out of date and the Brother printer I had been using would not work with a newer operating system. Bought a newer model Brother printer to go with it. The crew here did a great job of transferring data and setting up the printer to work with the new iMac. They made a house call to install both units and do some minor fine tuning. Several months prior they did a data transfer between an older MacBook Pro and a new MacBookAir which was uneventful. Because the old units were not worth much they declined to buy them as used but took them off my hands to recycle them. Can't say enough good about how they handled my requests and concerns. Will definitely do business there again.

Outstanding service! We brought our laptop pc to Computer Sense because we were concerned about some suspicious looking files. The owner patiently checked them out with us, and explained what they were and that they were not a problem. As we are not very computer savy, he not only took the time to suggest some improvements, but also actually made then for us (with our approval of course). Very competent and friendly service. We have used them several times over the years, always with great results.

Have gone to them multiple times, each time I was incredibly satisfied with my experience. Really the only tech shop in the area that isn't big-box, so all the pros and cons associated with that also apply.In my case, all my visits were to compile parts for my various PC projects, from hard drives to fans, and each time I payed a reasonable price.

Had them replace the power-adapter port on a Dell laptop. They were able to do it in about 24 hours and within the estimated labor charge. They know what they are doing. Will use them again needed.

We purchased a laptop there and it worked pretty well. At the time we were happy enough where we returned for a MacBook for our son beginning college. In a very short time the MacBook wouldn't power on. We returned the MacBook to inquire what was happening. The owner investigated the matter and told us the battery was shot and it wouldn't be worth replacing. We were charged a fee for the investigating of what was wrong. We were frustrated but understand things can happen. The owner stated he couldn't refund the laptop but would "give us a deal" on a replacement. Dozens of attempts to contact the owner have resulted in us being ghosted. Both my wife and I have called the store about a dozen times. Each time we are told by staff the owner isn't in and we would have to call back. We could never get a straight answer what time he would be in so we asked if we could leave a message. The staff has supposedly taken messages for us that have never been returned. I stopped into the store one day to ask what was going on. I was told that the owner was on vacation but he could be reached by cell phone. The employees said, "I'll reach him today and ask what he wants to do about this and you can come back in tomorrow to take care of this." The same employee called my wife later that same day and said he was unable to reach the owner and there was no way to reach him...so don't come in tomorrow because we would have no answers for you. My wife asked when we could come back in, and the employee said the owner is aware and would call us when he returns. Weeks later, still no call. When we call back, the owner is not in...same cycle repeating itself. If I could rate this place zero stars I would, but the Google format requires me to give them at least one star...that star they do not deserve. So it comes down to this: If you do business here, it will be a gamble. IF you buy a computer from here and it works fine...all will be well. IF you buy here and have a problem, do not expect them to correct the problem or make it right. You will never hear from them again. So we paid upwards of $700 for a used MacBook, plus the fee for evaluating why said MacBook failed, and are left with nothing to show for it. After online research, that particular model is known for batteries overheating and failing. The MacBook is still in their possession and no contact is able to be made. We were in need of a replacement and we found another place to do business on a MacBook. We have two other children who will need MacBooks for college and we will not be returning to Computer Sense to purchase them. It's a shame that a local business does their customers like this. Customers who were pretty understanding, at first, and was willing to buy there again for them to make it right. YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED!!!!! Addendum to the owner trying to save face in his reply: The review was 100% accurate. We were charged for a diagnosis. You stated battery damaged and what I mentioned above. You made up the liquid nonsense now. When we were given the diagnosis we were out of the country on vacation. Attempts to reach you when we returned were all ignored. You had ample time to reach us. You claim I was "disrespectful" to your employee as if that was justification for blowing someone off. The truth is, your employee was simply told that if I don't hear from the owner I will buy elsewhere. You employee always said you were never in and would never be in until much later in the day. He took messages each time and you never returned any calls. Me stopping in was a last attempt to make it right. Again, unavailable. But yet he reached you and you decided not to get in touch with us. You claim you wanted to handle it directly, but NEVER did. You like to pass the Buck. Bottom line, you and your business failed. This shows what will truly happen to anyone who has an issue with something purchased from your store. They will be Ghosted. Computer Sense is so much better than going to the Apple Store! Three weeks ago they remove the about-to-blow-up battery from my MacBook Pro and replaced it, and yesterday they showed me about 20 monitors to replace one that had died. Fast, pleasant staff, choices, honesty, good prices. And right down the road from me!

I bought a computer 7 years ago from Andrew at ComputerSense. I recently brought it back to him hoping for a repair but bracing myself for a new purchase. He repaired my existing computer and even helped me with a follow up phone call that was only needed on my end -operator error-. Andrew was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. Highly recommend.
