Had a great experience working with Lowe's in Camillus for a number of things. Tim in the cabinets department was super helpful, he created a great layout of my kitchen and aided me with the purchasing process and countertops as well. I've always been pleased with the paint and individuals working that station. My only reason for the four stars was their delivery process. They call the night before and give you a four hour time frame. Home Depot calls a half hour before which is great. Lowe's called and told me they were ten minutes away and more than hour before the earliest time they gave me so I had to hustle to get there for the delivery. Overall really pleased with this Lowe's location!

WOW. Just wow . "JOEY" evidently a big KORN fan was so dismissive of my inquiry about having a piece of molding cut and waiting a very long time " it happens " not really the correct response and then to turn away. Where is the customer service? Lowes used to be so good . Hello home depot

This is just the latest in ordering failures that seems to be the routine with Lowes. On Sept 19th I went online to research and purchase a new gas griddle, as I was anticipating the use the following week with relatives arriving for a visit and could easily accommodate meals using this item. I found a griddle that was a reasonable price, and listed as in stock at the Camillus Lowes store. The website informed me it would be ready for pickup at the Camillus location the next day, however, when I checked the box I wanted to pick it up assembled, the website revised the pickup date for Friday the 22nd. This was acceptable and I placed the order. On Friday the 22nd of Sept I awaited notification as I was instructed to come pick up the griddle. When none came by 5pm I went on line to track my item and found that not only was the assembly not completed, but, there was in fact none in stock as stated when I placed the order, and that one had been delivered to the store on the 22nd. I called customer service, and after going through an abundance of dancing through computer generated assistance strings, I finally got through to the store, only to be informed there was no one available to assist me, and to call back on Monday. I once again attempted to make my way through all the automated routines to get to store assistance on Monday, only to be told once again there was no one available that could assist me, but to leave my number for someone to call me back later that day. You guessed it, no one called, so I called back on Tuesday, and was told my call was being transferred to a manager, only to be hung up on. I again called back, asked for the manager and discussed the issues with her. She then informed me that Lowes contracts out for people to assemble products, and that they currently only work one day a week, Thursdays. She then informed me that I would have to wait until at least the following Friday to obtain my griddle. I once again reiterated my problem, that I had guest arriving, that they were expecting me to cook meals, and that I had purchased food that specifically matched the use of the griddle. Her response was, you can come get it now, but you'll have to assemble it. I explained to her that I was 73 yrs old, had spent a career in the fire service and my knees were ruined from that line of work, and that it was nearly impossible for me to assemble. She than said, you're just have wait. End of conversation. This is absolutely typical of Lowes, and not the first time with similar circumstances. I often wonder if I'm better off dealing with the other big box stores, and forget Lowes altogether.

I JUST Bought a Washer & Dryer, with all Installation Hoses, Gas Hoses, Stack Kit, Dryer Exhaust and a 5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY on 29MAY2023 with a Delivery date of 05JUNE2023! OVER $2,300.00!
It NEVER ARRIVED and now when you try to call there and talk to a Manager there, Jim the Customer Service Rep Just HANGS UP ON YOU and NOT willing to get a manager on the phone!
They said managers are doing "Inventory" and will NOT deal with Customers.
So I went up there with a Body Cam Jim who hung up on me over three times there acting like he is too good to deal with customers and then demanded another employee to see a manager and low and behold I get Jake, Matt, Shawn, some woman I didn't know and just Sorry after Sorry and NOT ONE OF THEM able to do ANYTHING!!!
Video will be posted of the entire encounter soon and how EVERY MANAGER has no clue as to what to do in the video and I am still WITHOUT any answers to the delivery of the paid for items already PAID FOR.
NOW this may have to go the legal route and to inform as many people as possible about what LOWES Does and DOESN'T DO.
Remember CUSTOMERS do not mean ANYTHING to LOWES and once they have your money, you have to fight for the items!!!
I WOULD NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS LOWES OR ANY LOWES GOING FORWARD AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

The employees here know absolutely nothing. Everyone I went there, there were new associates. I don't know how they're still in business. There's never anything on the shelves, even though the associates say they're continuously down stocking, which I know is a lie. I hope this place goes away soon. I will never shop here again.

Lowes should close their doors! Totally useless and unknowledgable in almost evey facet of home improvement advice and store inventory! This is pretty much across the board!!! I spent a good part of my weekend trying to locate a cellulose blow insulation blower to install the cellulose insulation that they sell in their stores! They either don't answer the phone in the department that is suppose to know, don't know, anything about it when you do reach someone, don't have any that work. The best response was "we don't carry them and never did!" I asked how they can sell the insulation but not have the equipment to install it? He told me "it's a fickle world we live in !" Well I'm gonna be fickle from now on and Not buy from them and reccomend my frieds to go to Home Depot if they want anything! They may have been around longer than any other home improvement store, but they certainly don't know anything about customer service!

Ordered a refrigerator in April. It wasn't really what I wanted but there was nothing in stock. Delivery date was for June but my renovation hadn't started yet so I asked them to deliver it August first. I also wanted the old refrigerator hauled away. So what I didn't realize is that once the merchandise is in the warehouse they won't store it so they had to order me another refrigerator. No one told me that . The new delivery date is August 22. I look on line on 8/19 to see the status and it says it's on back order. I call the Camillus store and speak to Ishka who tells me I need to come into the store, why I don't know. So I go in , they are not able to help me or figure out what's going on , nor can they confirm a delivery date on 8/22. I make sure at this time that they are going to haul away the new refrigerator whenever the old one is going to be delivered. I am assured at this time that it will be hauled away. I also have no idea when the new frog is coming. 8/22 I look on line and it says my refrigerator will be delivered 8/22. So the guys come and there is no order to haul away the old frog. Apparently there was no charge of 30 dollars. So I call Lowe's and they say there is nothing they can so and to call the warehouse. I was so mad. They should be calling the warehouse and straightening up this mess. I spent 4000 dollars on appliances. So there was a call from them that I missed and I'm sitting here with 2 refrigerators. Never again.

I will start off by saying that this is definitely not my favorite store. I needed an item only sold at Lowes, so I sucked it up and went there. Definitely a mistake. I needed assistance with this 90lb item. Waited in line for 10 minutes for the worker. He made a page for customer assistance. After 10 more minutes, noone showed up. I managed to go find a flat cart and load it myself (lawnmower). Mind you, this particular one was very expensive and yet noone to help. I went on a Tuesday around noon, not terribly busy. Nevertheless, customer service just isn't top notch at this particular location. Or might just be a Tuesday thing.

Let's see, self checkout's out of order, service desk was the only thing open. No one Manning this register but 4 employees in the area ignoring both customers waiting. Put my stuff down and left.

We received a gift card to Lowe's (we NEVER shop here) so my husband and I came to use it on a little house project. When we got to the check out I told the cashier (Mike) that we had a military discount. He was incredibly rude and asked me if we registered first. I was confused and asked him what he meant--we've never had to register in order to use a military discount, only show our active duty IDs. He rudely told us that we had to go online to register for a military discount. He sent us to a very kind girl (Justine) who got us registered. Luckily she checked us out because by this point I was livid at his complete rudeness in dealing with us. I'm irritated by Mikes rudeness and Lowe's policy of making military members register before allowing use of military discount. Never have we shopped somewhere with such an absurd policy. We never shop here and certainly will not be back.

In March of 2017, Lowe's installed Hi-Macs solid surface countertop in our kitchen. During installation the control panel on our dishwasher was damaged by the Top Fabricators, the installer. When we cleaned the countertops, we discovered thousands of finely aligned scratches a consistent distance from the edging. The scratches appeared to be created during manufacturing. Lowe's was made aware of both problems on the day of installation. At Lowe's request, I phoned Sean at Top Fabricators. Sean stated they cannot be expected to repair countertops because the buyer puts scratches in it. I explained we didn't scratch the surface there are thousands of scratches ~ he stated it was ridiculous of me to think they would install an inferior product. Regarding the dishwasher, we asked for a replacement panel. We were not looking to replace the dishwasher. Sean said our dishwasher is old (3 years) and no replacements parts could be found. We forwarded several sites carrying the part. It took a year to get Lowe's and Top Fabricators to do anything. After countless emails and phone calls, Lowe's agreed to have Top Fabricators come to our house to fix the countertops. Two men arrived. They agreed it was a manufacturing issue. They spent approximately 45 minutes at our home, including set up and breakdown; the sander ran about 15 minutes. They said they had done the entire countertop. I thought that odd since one man told the other he was not going to do the entire countertop. Lowe's charged us $110 dollars for removal of the dishwasher during installation to avoid damage. In April, Lowe's agreed to give us $100 for the dishwasher and a $50 Lowe's certificate. It took two trips (they would not mail) to the store to get the $100 (first time no one was available to help). It is now June, we never received the $50 Lowe's certificate. I won't have Top Fabricators in my home. Nor would I recommend dealing with Lowe's as they were very hesitant to help and insisted the installer be given a chance. Seems to me one year and a job poorly done says it all. The Better Business Bureau said they have so many complaints against Lowe's they can only show a small portion.

People are super kind but the bathrooms are gross! Not that big of a deal in a hardware store but it really just grossed me out!
