I read the reviews before going to this post office and they were terrible. The location is convenient, so I ventured in. The attendant was very personable and got my package on its way in no time. Honestly, service could not have been better! Don't believe everything you read, there are trolls out there just posting poor reviews as sport!

I called to speak with somebody to get help. The system had me put my number down to receive a call back nothing. So I call again the system then has me put my number down again to receive a call back ( no option to just wait on the phone ) again no call back. It took forever for me to finally speak with somebody.

Same bad experience as others trying to get a passport. Did not have copies of documents assuming I could get copies made there. Told the copier was broken and was advised to go elsewhere. I returned with copies within my appointment window but then was refused service. Attendant was very unpleasant and unreasonable.

We had an appointment scheduled for our 1 year old son. They canceled it due to short staffing, which is understandable. We made a second appointment. Once we got there, the attendant was rude from the start. Being very short with us, she immediately said we can’t do the appointment because we don’t have our documents copied. Their machine was down so they wouldn’t be able to make copies for us. How were we supposed to know that? When we got our daughters passport done, they were able to make copies right then and there so we thought the same was going to happen. She seemed like she just wanted to find any excuse to not help us. We ended up going to Staples to get our photos done, since we already were prepared to do them and our 1 year old wouldn’t be content for too long. Then went to the Solvay location and they were able to help us.

I agree with another review left that counter clerk’s account annoyed when they have to help you. They bring out the rude and dismissive attitude right away. I am sure they wouldn’t want be be talked to in that way. Avoid camillus location, I will be.

Employees have assisted me in mailing packages that I wasn't sure about the best way to send. Have also helped myself and customers behind me right before closing, which is kind as I would probably just cut the line off myself.

My wife, infant, and I had an appointment for passport and passport photos this past Saturday at 9 AM. They emailed us at 8:40 AM to cancel and say they would no longer be doing passports on Saturdays. Of course we didn't see the email, because we were getting our infant ready and car loaded to get there in time for.our appointment. So we show up for our appointment, and the clerk remarks, "well, we sent you an email.." If you're going to cancel that close to an appointment you should at least have the courtesy to call. Also, it's a MAJOR security concern that you CC ALL people that had appointments on the same email. A federal agency should be a MUCH better steward of private information than that.

There was only one staff member working and the line was so very long due to the fact that she did not know how to take a passport photo.

Says it opens at 8:30 online. I’m here now (8:47a.m) and the doors are still locked. If this is not an accurate time to refer to, this needs to be changed on the website. I have a very busy day moving into my new home and planned to be done with this errand by now. Very inconvenient waiting in the parking lot.

Dear Camillus USPS office,Today was the worst day of my life thank you to the post master there and her nasty attitude and not looking to help his customers she called on me 911. Here is the story and thank you for taking time to reading.Mail package was sent from Fayetteville USPS office and they made error and i got the package back. Went to Camillus with request for help and understanding and the post master she was mean and yield at me and demanded me to leave the office not looking to help me resolving the issue. The error was that the post officer in Fayetteville put the tracking number over the delivery address and i need to go there and fix the error my self?!? The employees were silent and she refused to give her full name so i can address this in my complaint. I got as reward police officer in my face. I wish there was a better way someone to help me fix USPS error not using the police fore to take me out of the post office on which im paying with my taxed in my town.Such a disgrace of a person that is running as a post master in Camillus.I forgive you for the tone and the negative attitude
