“The doctors are all great and have patience with my dog that is petrified when he's there. It's expensive, but most vets are now. My only complaint is the amount of time you have to wait when you try to call there for any reason. Usually on hold for at least 10 minutes or more and the fact that you need to sit in the car with your pet until they are ready to bring you in. An appt that is supposed to be at 6 will keep you waiting in your car till after 6:30 before you get called in.”
“My 2 year old cane corso needed emergency life saving surgery and they got me in right away when nobody else could. If it was not for the staff here, I wouldn’t have my baby home with me today. THEY ARE ANGELS HERE. and I would recommend them to anyone anytime, a thousand times over. Every single person we came in contact with was so friendly and smiling. I will always talk highly about the staff and the facility.”

“Our 9 year old dog, who has always had a healthy appetite, suddenly did not want her dog food and fell three times in the last week. We took her in to see Dr Ambrosie. She and her staff are remarkable. Everyone was professional and more importantly kind and understanding. Dr Ambbrosie had taken her time to explain everything in detail and what our options were. We agreed to a sonogram for Piper. Before they went ahead, we were given an estimate so we knew the cost before it was done. Brenda and I have used Lake County Veterinary Care for years. We have never been disappointed with their care and recommendations.”

“We've been coming here for almost 20 years. Dr. Skoglund's awesome! He's so kind, caring and compassionate. He just really cares. The office staff is also awesome. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a vet practice. He diagnosed a thyroid problem that my dog, Cookie, had. I don't know what would've happened if he hadn't diagnosed it. He's easy to talk to and has a fantastic sense of humor. He's also relatable. We also talked about the Buffalo Bills at a visit back in October. Let's go Buffalo!”
