“Made the bridal appt as a surprise for my daughter. Her maid of honor also flew in from Washington State, as a surprise, to join her. I chose Carmela’s because the phone call went great. Woman on the phone wasn’t dismissive that this was a surprise and said despite my daughter not knowing about the appointment she could easily make it fun and productive. Most shops I called would not schedule an appointment because the bride was not aware of the appointment and the shop had no input from her until the day of. From the minute we stepped into the shop for her appointment, Chrissy, the owner was very attentive and made my daughter feel at ease. She let her shop and then offered suggestions as she tried on the dresses. Chrissy was all about the experience for my daughter and not the hard sell. For that reason my usually indecisive daughter was able to make her choice. Chrissy got a sale and my daughter can’t stop talking about her experience.
