The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, artwork, home accessories, building materials and more to the public. This ReStore is independently owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County, NY. Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in the local community and around the world. New donations arrive daily, so customers never know what treasures they will find. The store is very organized, and the managers and staff on the floor are helpful. However, the people who work the checkout can sometimes be rude, talking to each other instead of customers. Despite this, many customers enjoy shopping at the ReStore because they can find unique, quality items at affordable prices. Customers often discover items they have been searching for, from furniture and clothes to books and household goods. While the prices are a little higher than a typical thrift store, shoppers feel they are paying for quality merchandise that gets a second chance.
