I needed multiple blinds cut including one for a sliding glass patio door at the Canandaigua NY store, the lady, Arial that works in the department is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond helping me and was very patient with me at the same time multitasking for other departments. A+++ customer service that made my day much easier. ?

There was a time when I would go nowhere else, now I go only if there are no other option --- here's why. As I was building my home I used lowes extensively - as a veteran I was given a small discount - the discount was not the deciding factor - when I got out of the service we were not looked apon with favor - except by lowes - a refreshing feeling -- and then one day my va id was no longer acceptable and I needed a lowes id indicating my military service ---- excuse me !!!! So you no longer accept my ID but will if I jump through hoops and carry yours --- at 80 yrs old I will not go to Lowe's unless there are no other options - side note I just replaced a water heater, there was an issue with the purchase ( at a competitor of Lowe's) and they not only corrected but brought a 2nd unit to my home --- you can bet money that would not have happened at Lowe's - I still go to Lowe's for small things and convenience but !!!!!!!

Called Thursday, 12/28, to add old stove removal to install order. They said the install on the 10th was only for the fan and they did not have a delivery date for the stove yet. I was already upset that they wouldn’t give a specific time frame. Also, if I wanted the old stove picked up, I would have to contact the store to arrange & pay for it – she did not have an exact fee. On Friday, December 29, 2023, I went to the service desk at the store in Canandaigua. The lady at the desk could find no record of the purchase or delivery/install. I said I would come back in the morning on Saturday with all the paperwork.I left the store & stopped at Riester’s – exact same stove, no installation fee, no delivery fee, no charge for removing the old stove – bought a new stove there. Called the Lowe’s installation team again to cancel the Lowe’s order. Before I could tell her about the store mix-up, she said the stove was being delivered to the store today – I explained the whole thing and told her I still wanted to cancel the order – not only because of the mix-up, but also because it is much less expensive at Riester’s – she said she would take care of it and I would hear from the store on Jan 2nd to talk about the refund. Not ½ hour later someone from Cndg called to arrange for the old stove renewal – I told him the order was cancelled & why – he wanted to know who was on the service desk – I said it wasn’t really her fault & I didn’t know – he apologized & I hung up.

The workers here are very helpful and willing to go above and beyond, especially Kristy and Tyler. I tried to get my problem worked out online and through calling the store, but I just became even more frustrated. When I went to the store, these specialists patiently walked through my problem and resolved it.

I purchased a dishwasher on 11/26/2023I called the store but I got the robot not a real person, I was on hold for at least 15 minutes. I can't understand why , but I guess I need to go back to the store and get my cash back and purchase another one at Home depot or Orvilles.The customer service is a joke. Ihopeople

I like wandering the aisles of these stores when I have the time, but not a great place when I'm in a hurry. Although the staff usually try to be helpful, the stores are typically understaffed. I've never noticed a directory when I first go in. That would be helpful since that's what I'm usually asking staff about.

Bought a frigidaire side by side refrigerator in January 2023 from Canandaigua, NY Lowes and purchased the Lowes 5 year protection plan. after 6 months had multiple problems and called the protection plan number. Had 3 service call visits that did not solve the problems. eventually the refrigerator stopped working completely only 9 months old. Had to buy new refrigerator and have been attempting to get refund for 9 month old broken fridge as well as get broken fridge taken away. Now after 3 months still have broken fridge in garage and no refund. DO NOT ever purchase the protection plan from Lowes. it is completely and utterly useless and waste of your money. if I could give less than one star review I would definitely do that. DO NOT buy any appliances from Lowes.
