I went to tops as a little kid. We used to joke “tops never mops look at the floor” but anyways I still go part nostalgia part it’s what’s in the area at the time but never my first choice. I used to looooove the chicken salad but now it’s awful I wouldn’t eat it if it was free. Now the one in canandaigua was close to the park I was having a family event I bought a pack of Mickey/minnie mouse cupcakes with rings on it with the whipped satin top. Our hands are completely dyed every time we eat one God forbid it gets on your face like it did my daughter. I hate washing my hands 3 times soaking them in soap and doing dishes for it to be relatively unnoticeable. Maybe every tops but I bought them at this one

I've lived all over this country. I must say this is the most depressing grocery store that I've ever been to. With the exception of the two young, very nice cashiers. This place is not good for anybody's mental health.

Patti, the cashier on register 6 today.... the most unprofessional snarky comments I have ever heard. I will shop at the Farmington store from now on. Disgusted by complete and total lack of basic human courtesy or politeness.

Had to stop at tops to grab some milk and a bite to eat. Went to the deli station to grab a wrap, with 0 customers in line. They took my order wrote it down and said it be 10 minutes..I found that odd as it wasn’t busy and it What? was a 4-5 minute order not a 10-15 minute one. Service was sad, the lack of urgency and laziness was apparent. They over portioned my order completely shredding my wrap. Even worse the woman was training someone who stood there awkwardly knowing she was just annihilating my order.
I did talk to the manager to make him aware that his employees are slow, costing the store money, and putting out terrible food. A wrap is simple enough, if you mess up that it surely says a lot. Will not be returning. And what’s with their frozen green beans being 3$!? I can pay 99cents a bag practically anywhere else.

Name drop: Mikayla
The store is VERY average. The employee who checked us out stopped halfway through our transaction (Mikayla) and HAD to get a piece of gum out so they could chew it (I even recall the gum they took out being a sour patch flavor). Poor attitude. Terrible customer service. Never again.

I get fried chicken here everyweek. The
woman assistant store manager is always treating her employees with disgust. She always has a nasty look on her face. Told an employee " were not here for ourselves" ? Yeah actually they are there for themselves and to pay taxes with thier low wages. Just a miserable person. She's always floating around the deli section giving the stink eye to everyone.

Some really good sales, just watch what you're paying per item, some of the buy some get some free end up still higher than Walmart prices.3/2024- I was significantly overcharged recently. Today i had the right brand but the wrong type for the coupon so I said I didn't want the item. After initial issues removing the item, I was rung out and assumed the amount came off, but found it on my receipt. Each time customer service has been nice and gave my money back. I would recommend checking your receipt, im wondering if this happens and I just didn't check the receipt other times.

I went thru the self ck out, with 1 item.I asked if I could use cash, an older, sick looking woman told me no. So I go over, wait in line, pay for the low splash bleach, that was marked on sale for $2.79. I was charged $4.07. I won't be back..
