I ordered a custom concession window with awning, gas shocks, and integrated shelf from KMT. Around 4-5 weeks later it arrived and I was upset to discover the shelf had not been included. So I called and was given the option to send it back, which would have added months, or to have the shelf sent to me separately. I chose the latter even though this now meant that I had to do the job of the person that messed up and after a few weeks, I received the shelf. It had no installation instructions and there was a scratch going nearly the length of the shelf. Now it's not a major blemish but when I pay over $1000 for a custom product I expect it to be right. So I called again and sent pictures of the scratch as requested and was told he would try and take care of me. For several weeks this went on and I kept getting the same response. My initial order was May 15th, it's now the middle of August and nothing has been resolved. I have called two times a week and have gotten no response and now the voicemail box is full. Mistakes happen and I get that but especially with businesses it's all about how you recover from mistakes. I cannot possibly recommend this company after this. I am now stuck with a defective product and they have completely stopped responding. Even when they were responding it took several calls from me several days in a row to get a hold of someone. Do business with this company at your own risk.

If I could give a zero rating, I would have. I had a custom extra heavy duty enclosed trailer built.in 2015. I picked the trailer up and used it for a week and the door was built to wide and kept ripping the trim off and the sheet metal screws started falling out. Kristi sent someone to my shop and replaced the corner metal and the missing screws and left a box of extra screws for when the rest fall out. A few weeks later the trim ripped off again as I guess the rear door can not be opened unless on perfectly level ground. They had me bring the trailer 5 hours each way back to the factory, repaired the trailer and 3 weeks later I had to drive 5 hours each way to pick it up again. They cut the rear door down so it would not rub and repaired the metal. A few months later I noticed the aluminum sheets corroding on the sides and the floor cross members bending from a 3500 scissor lift. This trailer was built with 12" oc cross member, double 3/4" plywood and diamond plate on top. I had to bring the trailer back again, and 3 weeks later I had to pick it up. When i picked it up, it was after hours and found they did not replace the aluminum sheets, but put diamond plate over the corrosion as they did not have time to re-skin the trailer. About six months later the skin is corroded through around the wheel wheels and also through the diamond plate along the bottom of the trailer. I have called Kevin at Kristi about 20 times and he is always going to have the owner contact me. This week, the bottom rear door support that the rear door hinges mount to rotted out from the inside, so it was not visible and the rear door fell off in a customers yard. I had to pay $1800 for a fab shop to rebuild the rear of the trailer as the steel that was used was thinner then the side steel and could not be repaired. The fab shop can not believe this trailer is only three years old and rotting from the inside out as the trailer was not prepped and sealed correctly. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KRISTI TRAILERS!!!!! You can call me anytime at 802-249-0678 and I would be glad to send you pictures. I own 13 trailers and I have never seen such poor workmanship and customer service. I would have thought they would have wanted to sell me the five trailer I have bought since this Kristi trailer and have two more coming this spring
