I like this location. I have been coming here for three years now. The doctor is a attentive and spends time talking about the health of your eye. The staff was very helpful and worked with me to find the right pair.

The Carl Place staff is rude, unprofessional, and could care less about customers! they act like they're doing you a favor by selling you a pair of high priced glasses! Vanessa never welcomes you to the store just points you to the eyeglass display and tells you to pick one while never leaving her seat. this is the first and last time I will ever use Americas best! very unhappy customer!

This is NOT the place to go if you seriously need glasses. The staff seems as though you are wasting their time and do not have a clue as to what they are doing. Nor do they know their promotions. One person told me one thing and another person told me something else and then claimed I probably didn't hear it right. I'm not here for my hearing. The man who took my order did it all wrong and didn't put down anything I wanted on the glasses. Very very disappointed. Never again.

Beware and be alert of the "OWL" ON 04/19/2021 I got two pairs of Eyeglasses from "AMERICA'S BEST" Carle Place New York. Receipt shows: SPECTACLE Rx along with the checked features to protect the lens. Specifically: "SCRATCH RESISTANT" EXP DATE O4/19/2023. Little after one year 2022 the lens had scratches, went back to location since the Expiration Date clearly stated 04/19/2023. They refused to honor the warranty, they claimed 04/19/2023 was for the Prescription not the Eyeglasses. Nowhere on the Receipt does it state warranty for Prescription Only. I got glasses from SEARS (no longer in retail business) TWO PAIRS FOR $99.00 eight years ago and NO SCRATCHES (still using them as a back-up) I got glasses from JC PENNY/ and other local businesses and never had a problem with the Eyeglasses or the Warranty. This business should be called AMERICA'S WORST (THE OWL IS MISREPRESENTED). Also the price the OWL promises is BAIT AND SWITCH. The price is for a cheap piece of plastic, I paid approximately $200.00 and will now go to COSTCO for new glasses where the SERVICE AND WARRANTY IS PREMIUM. BUYER BEWARE! DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THE "WISE OLD OWL"

Exceptional service! My glasses needed a quick repair and although they were closed one of the lovely ladies Vanessa still took them and fixed them while I waited outside. I so appreciate the service and I would definitely use them again.Thank you Vanessa!!!

At first, I was skeptical, so I pre checked in all the usual web places. Lots of happy faces. A few unfortunate individuals who naively thought all the bells and whistles would come at the advertised price. Get real, all that stuff will add hundreds to your price, depending on how many you want, or need. I walked out with an eyetest by a qualified optometrist, and two pair of custom made driving glasses with included frames at the $79.00 price,, plus $50.more to make one pair as regular sunglasses. All personally fit by a licensed fitter, sitting in a chair at a desk, like a gentleman. Not standing on line in Costco. Going to transitional lenses and varying shade sunglasses will get you up to $300 plus, depending.I was so satisfied with it all that I went home and bought stock in the company, which has 1200 stores in USA. Because you shouldn't buy custom glasses on line, or in a big box retailer.

I like the selection of frames at this store, and that you can try them on at your will. Certainly it is complicated because once someone tries them on they have to be sterilized before going back on the shelf, so you will miss some frames, but they are doing a great job trying to keep everything accessible while balancing Covid concerns. Every staff member I interacted with was absolutely friendly and a pleasure. The optometrist took time to explain things to me, without selling me on product. Such as a conversation about signs that reading glasses are needed and what to watch for, while saying I do not need them yet. I very much appreciate that honesty. I do not feel like I got a hard sell on anything or any scare tactics to make you buy something. I'm very happy with America's Best, Carle Place NY.

I had a great experience at America’s Best. They have a beautiful selection of frames and everyone on the staff is polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Frames are reasonably priced and I bought a pair of glasses that would have easily cost me three times the price elsewhere. I will definitely be back.

We got here at our scheduled time. The doctor took one hour and 10 minutes with a patient. With no regard for a waiting room that was full. You could hear them chitchatting and laughing the entire time

The customer service at this location is horrible. Barely made it past the door and tried to tell me my insurance was expired (it’s not). Made no attempt to look into it further. I’ve been a customer of the location for the past 4 years and never had an issue with insurance. Guess my business isn’t wanted.
