Anti-social environment. As soon as you come in, the only person sitting at the humongous desk points to a big banner with a QR code. After you scan it, you fill out all the forms online, scan your health insurance card and then pay $50 co-pay with your credit card that you scan. So after you finish all of that, you get called to the desk where the person tells you that you owe another $50 because the form online wasn't updated. So if they are now $100, they should not state $50 on the website and should take the words "Urgent Care" from their place name which is "CityMD." This is because all Urgent Care facilities are still $50, CityMDs are not. Who would want to pay $100 at this Urgent Care that doesn't do blood work, xrays, mri, barely anything, when you could pay $150 at the ER in any hospital. Are these people for real? Don't get scammed here. Find a place that just says "Urgent Care" and pay only $50.

I went in for a deep scrape to make sure it wasn’t something I needed to go to an actual doctor for. All they did was clean with antiseptic and put some Vaseline on it and a bandaid and charged my insurance over 300 leaving me with $245 to pay. What a scam. 0/10 would never recommend.

I was 92 miles from home, in pain, and in desperate need of care. Also, I had to drive home that day. The CityMD at Carle Place was a Godsend. The receptionist was attentive, kind and helpful. The PA assistant was quick and efficient. And the doctor understood I needed antibiotic to start working immediately, but also a proper script. So, given the situation, she provided me with the first dose right then and there, so as I waited at CVS to get the script filled, the meds were already working. She could see I was stressed out I am so grateful to her. Wonderful doctor.

Visit was his honestly a true pleasure
The staff was incredibly helpful professional and pleasant.
The nurse on staff was delightful and insightful as was the doc on call. Engaged my daughter was respectful personable funny and very helpful

000000 ⭐️ Receptionist is VERY rude and all she does is eat went there again today which is two days later she on the computer eating… guess she gets paid to eat ; phone was ringing she just sitting there smacking on her chips then sucks her teeth and finally answers the phone…very rude… didn’t like the doctor I saw two days later ; very rude and his assistant walked in the room and didn’t even speak.. had to wait 20 minutes to see the other male doctor that was wayyyyyy nicer the first one who I seen doesn’t like his job he’s just there for a check like the rude receptionist so she can eat her junk food…my experience w the 2 females doctor/ assistant was 7/10 otherwise I WONT return back to this location EVER ; and I was told NOT to go there from one of my friends who recently visited also but I said let me try for myself and sure enough TRASH ; just horrible ; hope they get rid of the rude receptionists and get more female doctors for female patients or just SHUT IT DOWN !!!!

I've been using this facility for several years for myself, my family, and my kids, and we've never had any complaints about the care provided. The level of service and kindness demonstrated by each employee is consistently excellent.

Our experience with Dr. Christopher Maurischat was beyond exceptional. He went above and beyond to help my son who was seen for a head injury. He assisted in getting a CT Scan done after hours and then the staff at CityMD was able to locate and make an appointment for a pediatric Neurologist the next day. The service exceeded our expectations! Thank you for taking such good care of my son!

I've actually visited this center on a few occasions because of the proximity to my home. I've visited this location when I was feeling marked symptoms of varying kind.
From the front desk to the back room I don't feel any real sense of warmth or kindness. Sometimes I feel like the Dr. Or the PA is reluctant to even touch you.
I'm not sure if it's my skin color or that's their cold practice across all patients. I think this will be my last visit.
I'm actually really ill with covid and I took the time to write this.
