This is a great place to come for everything for the all-around rock kind of experience. They have everything from percussion to drums to bases electric guitars acoustic instruments including small instruments like mandolins and ukuleles, they have sound equipment microphones almost everything they used to have more music books but those I guess you can buy online now. Stephen is super friendly. My only drawback about this place is sometimes the wait at the line is long. They could probably use a few more staff members at all times but everyone here is great.

This is the absolute worst guitar center I've been too. The customer service is horrible. The employees are always reluctant to help, often they are too busy. I was told by one of the employees who works there "I have other clients ahead of you" multiple times as I'm on line to buy things or have questions regarding buying specific gear. On one occasion, I was on line, and ready to be served and the mentioned employee comes with two people from the floor skips my place, tells me to take my bag of the counter he has to serve other customers. Thankfully a different employee helped me. But I was absolutely shocked at that behaviour. More recently As he's ringing something up for me, and I'm trying to pay for it, he's busy having a personal conversation with other customers leaving the store. Seemed like he knew them. Just made me feel very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional behaviour. I wish I was aware of his name. He's the one with very long hair. I find the employees in this location disrespectful, and unwilling to do their job properly. It starts to feel personal since I've had the misfortune of coming here multiple times, and experience this from them a lot. I've had many bad experiences in this location. One time I was trying to buy guitar picks, and they actually had a giant garbage container of some kind perfectly blocking all the guitar picks. Of course no one was aware enough to correct this when there was me and another trying to look at guitar picks. Another time, the guitar tech started to have an argument with me about guitars for no reason when I was just trying to ask a question. The employees exhibit very strange behaviour. One of them even appears to be using serious drugs. Because the employees ignore you, and don't help, I end up spending longer than I want in this location. I was here Friday jan 19th at 8pm last. This will be the last time I buy anything from this guitar center. I would strongly advise to avoid this location if you can. I usually go to the one in Long island city, and have a much better experience there.

Thanks to Pat for helping us in every way possible to replace my son's drum set. Pat was incredibly helpful and wanted to make things right for us. Do not ship online. Shop with Pat and Jestin.

I found a used, discontinued amp online from their Lubbock TX store. I phoned to confirm the condition and availability. The salesperson was very helpful there. I bought the amp on their website, and had it shipped to the local store, in Westbury NY.When I went to pick it up, the salesman set it up in their acoustic guitar room so I could check it out. It was as described, which was excellent. As smooth a transaction as I could hope for, and I love the amp. Roland AC60. Thanks!

Friendly staff. A little disorganized but that's expected towards the end of the day after everyone's been trying out equipmentThe gentleman who helped me knew his stuff, which is reassuring as often in retail, folks are just looking to hire anyone who can be a body and staff the store. I didn't feel that way during my visit this time. I was purchasing a practice drum pad and the gentleman who helped me (MATTHEW) at Carle Place store knew his stuff. He was responsive to my questions, went to check if he had stuff in stock, and rang me up right away. Appreciated his helpWould def return

Great selection but understaffed. We must have spent 3 hours in this store trying to purchase a bass guitar and all its ensembles. My son is in his HS jazz band and wanted a bass guitar. We didn’t do our homework regarding bass guitars, but thought we would get the appropriate help here. We did, but everyone was busy so we get help in small snippets.Hints:Have an idea of what you are looking for especially if you’re new to music/guitars.Have a budget in mind.Allow yourself time to get the required help.Allow time to practice and explore the equipment you would like to purchase.
