Two stars only for the really sweet sales associate (brown hair, glasses?) that helped me with my transaction. Girl, if you see this, you’re an angel for putting up with your micromanager, (dark red hair, glasses) whose poor leadership is the reason for my negative review.Manager hovered over the associate the entire time, even becoming a poor retail employee herself by ignoring other customers. I appreciate that they fixed my profile in the system, but the passive aggressive comments from the manager to the associate left a bad taste in my mouth.“No, you’re doing all that wrong.”“You just did everything wrong.”“Nope, nope.”“See, this is why your numbers are down.”And half of that was while the associate was actually doing the right thing, trying to make sure the correct profile was selected. Like damn, working retail sucks enough— maybe treat your workers with a little more patience and forgiveness.I seek to support businesses with good, respectable, and healthy work environments. This was not it. I probably won’t be back here, and it’s not the sales associate’s fault.

I am so grateful to have met Allie at Sally’s today. She was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Her amount of knowledge blew me away. I have natural black and silver hair but dyed it a blueish color for fun. The color was too green for me and Allie knew exactly to do to correct the color. She understood the needs of silver hair vs bleached hair and she totally saved the day. Cruelty free and vegan products are a must for me and she made sure every product met the criteria. I will absolutely be returning to this store as I feel I found my new consultant!

I went to Sally's with the intent to dye my hair, and when I asked Kelly for help, she was nice enough to direct me to their new services they were offering in store! They had an iPad in the store that let you connect to many cosmetologists that were essentially on call to help with any questions you may have concerning your hair! I got to meet Luc who was very kind to me and was able to show me the products I needed to successfully dye my hair, and I was not disappointed! Kelly was very helpful in guiding me to most of the products in the store and overall was very kind and sweet when checking me out!

New location!!! Very easy to find. The shopping center it's located at has a few stores. The parking lot is spacious and a lot easier to park at than the other location. The store seems a little smaller but manageable. You can find things easily and they are always getting new products. Staff are very helpful.

After entering the Carle Place Sally's location, I was followed around the store while other patrons were able to shop freely. At checkout, the cashier named Ally asked me: "Did you have more? I thought you had more." I said "No." She then went on to say "I thought you had more things. Did you put things down?" I said "No I didn't." Ally then went on to say "Maybe I was looking at someone else." I said "You must of been because this is all I had." Why would you ask such a question? I did not see her ask this to anyone else. But I was the only person of color in the store at that moment. This is upsetting and embarrassing to be treated this way . Sally's is this behavior a representation of your store?

I just wanna say I went to the store excited because I wanted to die my hair but the costumer service was bad I asked the worker for help , tips and she really stood there and said well I can your hair is damaged already , which is not true and so unprofessional of her I really disliked my time there. Worse costumer service experience

Cashier pretended to not be able to find my pro membership using my phone number then uses my email and claims she found it but proceeded to charge me full price for every item I purchased. I will be returning to the store tomorrow to rectify this situation. I know my phone number and I used it at another store a few days prior which always works and applied for a credit card. The keychain tag was so much easier to use and they should be brought back

Horrible experience No lights in the store and when we asked to turn the light on for a minute so I could pick out my item they said they couldn’t because it created too much heat if they only knew and I told them to Google it that fluorescent bulbs don’t throw off a large amount of heat. I normally don't do this but there are some people who shouldn't be in customer service. I am probably one of the most even keel person you will ever meet. If you don't like your job go find something you are great at. The young lady behind the counter RUDE as can be, That I bought what I needed and left without saying thank you. I hope this young lady understands why customer service is all about!!!

Rude woman at the register in store wearing her mask under her nose - and coughing, no less - gave me an argument when I asked her to pull up her mask before I approached the register to pay for my purchase. Argued that it fogged up her glasses, she can't see, then said there was a plastic barrier. When I refused to back down, she finally gave a big huffy sigh, removed her glasses, and pulled up her mask to ring me up. Give me a break. I am required to wear a mask in the store; why are you an exception? Wearing your mask under your nose makes the mask useless; why is this hard for people to comprehend? I have an elderly relative recovering from a stroke that I care for, and I'm not taking any risks. Being rude to customers is a bad look. I'll go to a different location from now on. I had read other reviews online about this location complaining about the rudeness of the employees; guess it's true.

If the location is closed due to inclement weather it should be posted on the site and texted to anyone picking up an online order. Drove all of this way, just to find it closed.
