Great service, everyone who I encountered was friendly and attentive. Kevin in the repairs department was great, he was able to fix my problem in under 1-hour where other guitar stores were telling me 2-weeks. I’ll definitely be back!

I went to the Sam ash in Carle place NY, I was helped by Cody who gave me his undivided attention and addressed my concerns with a product I had recently purchased. He was understanding and swift with the product exchange and I left the store very pleased with the customer service you can only receive in a brick and mortar location. Thanks again Cody!BTW this location is meticulously organized and the staff is very knowledgeable.

I was extremely pleased by the service and attentive nature of the Sam Ash Carle Place store. In particular the guitar sales reps Andrea and Chris for assisting me to get the exact gear I needed for my son who is a new gigging musician. I will most certainly be giving my business to this location as opposed to Guitar Center who did not seem to care to assist me. Thank You Sam Ash!

Jen was the best! She was very patient, friendly and attentive. Knowledge and advice was very helpful and making it decision on which product to purchase. Jen is exactly the reason why this brick & mortar store is so great. You won’t find that kind of personal experience and attention elsewhere.

Nick and Kevin are wonderful gentlemen. They were kind, courteous and professional, eager to assist me with my guitar and violin repairs. Both answered my questions and shared their considered opinions regarding the best options for my instruments. When the work was done, Nick helped me carry the instruments to my car. It is rare to find such high-quality, friendly service nowadays. Nick and Kevin are gems. Because of them, I will recommend Sam Ash in Carle Place to everyone. Five stars!

My wife and son originally went to the store a few weeks ago. A young man named Ryan in the drums department was SUPER helpful. Allowed my son to try out a few sets of drums. They were looking for materials to update and repair his current set. Ryan was so helpful, patient and answered all their questions. We went back yesterday to make the purchases with Ryan. A great experience because of this young man! We will be going back and dealing with him again.

Best experience ever! We shopped at the Carle Place location for a new guitar for my 12 year old son’s birthday. Although all the guys in the guitar area were so knowledgeable and helpful- Chris was outstanding! We came in many times playing and trying new guitars. He never pressured us for a sale. Instead he really related to my son and kept giving him more ideas until he found the perfect one. Cody only wanted to purchase from Chris. It was a big purchase for us and he made it so fun and exciting for Cody. It’s really great to see someone who really cared that we left happy. Best birthday gift ! Thank you for a wonderful experience and we’ll be back!

I’m a regular customer at the Sam ash in Carles place location Nick and Jeff were very helpful in my purchase of a fender 75th anniversary telecaster guitar the guitar had a couple of smudges on the headstock and Jeff cleaned it up making it look like new, thanks guys for great customer service.Stefano

This is definitely not the store (Carle Place) it once was. I have been a customer for the last 6-7 years and was always more than satisfied. I brought my daughter’s flute in to be serviced and cleaned at the beginning of August ( I purchased a new flute and purchased a service contract last year) and was told that the individual who previously serviced the instruments had retired and that they would have to send it out to Manhattan to get it serviced and that it might take at least 4 weeks to get it back. Naturally I was a little disappointed, but I tried to stay hopeful. I asked when it would be sent out. (It was Monday) . I was told “soon”. I called on Thursday and was told that it wasn’t sent out yet because they were doing inventory. I don’t know what that had to do with anything but I was told that it would “probably” go out Friday or Monday. I assumed it had gone out and during the first week of school inSeptember I called the store to see if it was back yet and was told that they would have to check with the manager and call me back. I was called back and miraculously the flute just came in. After school that day, I brought my daughter with me to pick up the flute and frankly it didn’t look like it was sent out at all. The keys were sticking and when I showed the person working there, I was told” it shouldn’t affect the sound”. Since she needed it for school. I took it and had to pay to get it fixed through her school. I’m glad I paid for a service contract. I will NEVER recommend this store again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Jennifer was an amazing tutor for my daughter. I could see the excitement in her as soon as I started telling her about my daughter. I knew she’d be great with my Sophia. My daughter absolutely took the lesson and ran with it. Thank you Jennifer

This is my third time back here to sell a blue microphone. The first time the microphone was tested and worked despite the head being detached. However I was told to come back with the filter for the microphone. The second time they told me to come back because they were too busy. The third time I returned with the filter and they tell me they can’t buy it back. This is frustrating. The employees are not on the same page. I drove 45 mins on 3 separate occasions. Wasted my time. Either tell me you can’t buy it back the first time or stick to your word and honor that. I can also verify which employees told me what as well as the quote I was given.

Super fast shipping, this bass went halfway across the country in 2 days. Nick was hilarious and very helpful. I had never purchased anything over the phone before so I had no clue what I was doing but Nick got me through the process very smoothly. Overall it was a great experience and I'd love to visit this location if I ever make my way to New York. Five stars!
