I recently bought a Garmin Descent MK3I from Scuba Network for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. The service provided by owner Martha Katz was stellar; not only did Scuba Network stock the watch earlier than many other retailers, but Martha called to let me know as soon as it arrived! Her customer service and that of Dan Halloran, the store's general manager are unmatched. I will definitely be back and highly recommend for all your diving needs!

Incredible staff that are very passionate about diving. Just took the PADI open water class here. It was exceptional. The store also has a very wide selection of equipment.

Fallon helped me overcome so much diving anxiety and I wouldn’t be where I am without her. Incredible experience that I couldn’t recommend enough. And can’t wait to see the reef with her!

I found this place in a pinch, needing some straps last-minute for my broken fins. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and got me fixed right up.

bad business!!! bought a head full face snorkel mask 2 years ago from this place. long story short i lost a snorkel part from the mask i bought from them so went to carle place location i ask if they can give me a part from a mask from the ones in stock, they refused to break a set and help me only choice given was buy a new mask which they did not have my size (but other mask in stock had my part) or go home. moral of story they rather loose a customer with over $2k in purchases over not breaking a set that can replaced from their supply company, the sales staff prefers profit over helping repeat customer!!! its a $30 dollar piece for christ sake!!!

It’s a nice shop and has a lot of good equipment. I bought a mask from their old location that’s still going strong several years later. This was my first time taking a certification course with them, however, and I was less impressed. The course itself was fine; however, they didn’t submit the paperwork to PADI for a full month. I called multiple times and was told it would happen “soon.” It seems like they submit paperwork for a lot of people at once, from what I was told on the phone, but they should be transparent about that in case you need your certification card at a certain time. I probably will not go back to this shop.

Really cool dive shop with tons of gear. Nicole and Michael helped me pick out my first tank and they were very knowledgeable about the local diving on long island. I don't think ill be going to any other dive shop then this one, its a great store!

I’ve been a Scuba Network of Long Island customer for many years. After taking recurrence training I went on to take several courses including Advanced, Rescue, Solo Diver, Deep Diver & Nitrox. They offer excellent courses that all have a classroom, pool and open water components. The primary focus is safety. Along the way I became friends with Martha and Steve and their friendly staff. I learned to incorporate spare air and a redundant gas supply in all my diving. If you’re a beginner or interested in earning a certification I highly recommend training with Scuba Network of Long Island. They are well respected and have trained a large number of scuba divers to dive safely and to stay within the limits of their training!

Went to get a tank rented. Sadly when I arrived only one person was on staff and had hands full with a family trying/buying all new equipment. After waiting some time and at the bequest of her customer she came over to assist.I was given a tank and asked to inspect then come and provide my info and sign a small paper slip (name, credit card number, CID, expiration). I asked that it be shredded upon return of equipment as I am leary of written card info.Next day I went to return my tank and upon asking where to place the tank I was told to leave it where I stood. The two employees working provided a cold interaction with few words and minimal eye contact. I was asked my name, handed my slip and that was all. I was looking to buy a new mask and snorkel but after this interaction I'll bring my business elsewhere.I also do not appreciate my CC info not being kept in secure storage and rather was simply behind the desk bundled with others. In the world of data security this is a big deal and lends itself to unauthorized access. I recommend a PCI compliance audit or to review the standards.
