“Major improvement since my December visits — this store is now back to normal operating condition.
I’ve been a regular ALDI customer and genuinely want this location to succeed. After serious sanitation and operational problems during multiple December visits, I escalated concerns to ALDI corporate and left a 1-star review at the time.
UPDATE — Visit on Jan 31 around 11am:
The turnaround is real. The store was clean and orderly, overhead lighting repaired, carts properly staged at the entrance, egg and dairy cases clean and fully stocked, floors being actively cleaned, and checkout lines short with all registers staffed. I did not see the food safety and neglect issues that were present before.
I also met the new store manager, Rocky, who shared that corporate reassigned her to stabilize this location and has hired additional staff. Based on what I observed, those corrective actions are clearly working.
It’s not perfect yet (one bakery subsection was empty), but conditions are dramatically improved and back to what I expect from a well-run ALDI. Updating my rating to reflect current conditions and hoping the progress continues.”

“CTown has a modern exterior and a clean, well-organized interior. The fresh produce and neatly arranged items on the shelves, coupled with good lighting, create a comfortable shopping environment. Other supermarkets in the area should take note and consider upgrading their appearance and conditions to elevate the overall standards in the neighborhood.”

“Every time I need something Mike the manager always gets it for me. He is always making a great effort to accommodate me. It makes me want to shop at Keyfood the next time I need something. He is a real gentleman and I think he gives integrity to the store. 5 stars to Mike and Key food.

Every dish on display looks fresh, vibrant, and incredibly appetizing. You can tell they put a lot of effort into preparing their food, and it shows.

“This is NOT a CTown, it is called Village Market. Not sure why the name isn't updated here. Good supermarket and decent selection. Some items are overpriced but overall a nice market in the neighborhood.”
“Overall, the store is great. The people are nice and helpful. I prefer shopping here over anywhere else. There is one exception...the Deli Manager. He is rude and argumentative. I ordered a quarte pound of something, and he gave me a half. I told him I wanted a quarter. He argued with me that I ordered a half. Another customer came up to me an validated that I ordered a half. She said she has had similar experiences with him. He either needs to go or learn customer service skills. Sometimes the customer is right.”
“Love this store. Only thing that may be hit or miss is the chicken wing buffet. Sometimes it’s just way over cooked and the meat gets tough.
By the way if your app logged you off and you can’t find the password in your phone, it might be under Okta. That’s the provider when I reset my password.”

“Well stocked kosher supermarket. Smaller than some others in the community, but fish and meat sections give especially friendly and personal service. There's an employee in the municipal parking lot behind the store that feeds the meters for customers.”
“Cherry Valley have good sales and friendly cashiers. Lines move fast. So this is one of three stop n shops I visit. Cherry Valley, vs carle place , or woodmere has been my favorite. However, Woodmere has a kosher meats, section, but traffic is a problem. Plenty of parking. So cherry valley is #1 in spite of limited parking.
I have to remember to take photos.”
“In this part of town, there aren’t many or really any Bukharian supermarkets that have our traditional foods that we all love in one store. The food is delicious - especially the homemade bakhsh. The produce is always fresh and the prices are very affordable. And of course it’s kosher, so it’s the best trifecta of kosher, traditional foods and amazing prices.

The staff is always friendly and helpful.
It’s a busy store on the weekends but the prices are amazing so it makes sense.
They work hard to stock the shelf’s and they have variety and choice of many different items. Aldi is one of my favorite Supermarkets.

“I wish they had a 12 items or less lane- I spent extra time there with just 2 items to purchase while the woman in front of me had a full carriage. The cashier I had was polite and greeted me enthusiastically. Also when it comes to some produce catering to the Carribean and African community there is a good set of options”
“I like the Italian bread that comes in the 2 loaves in a bag. A good savings price.
Further down the aisle where the fruits and vegetables are you have to look down below in a cubby where fruit is reduced and in a bag and each bag is only 99 cents.
Sometimes the fruit is over Right but many other times there is nothing wrong with it other than maybe a small Dent or a blemish but for 99 cents for a bag of fruit you can't go wrong.”
