Excellent diner experience! Staff was friendly and warm, but didn't hover. Food was tasty, but no frills and quick to come out! (Make sure you leave room for the potatoes) Excited to come back for another

The last time I was here was 20 years ago, I took my two sons this past Sunday, and the breakfast brought back memories. We really enjoyed the comfort food. The staff was very attentive. Can't wait to go back again.

Parking is tight. Inside is a small space but has the classic diner look. I was there for a late breakfast not very crowded no wait. Service was reasonably fast but not very friendly. I had Thomas’s Texan scramble. Eggs with sausage, pepper & cheese with hash browns and toast. Served in a skillet, unique but I’d prefer a plate. The has browns were not cooked enough and my dish returned so quickly after I ordered that I knew they were not freshly made.

Why the hell is there a line out the door to this place? After taking an extended hiatus from the land of the living and eating, the Raccoon found himself back on the ol’ island of length visiting one of the gems of social media’s breakfast/brunch obsession, “Thomas’s Ham & Eggery Diner.” You’d be lucky to find a parking spot during the weekend rush hours but if you have legs or some other bodily transport device you can make your way to one of the most hilariously overrated breakfast spots on the island. At the Eggery you can expect to find your typical, run of the mill diner fare and flavors: bland, under seasoned and free of imagination. The Raccoon ordered himself a plate of the sausage and eggs Benedict on sad unflavored and unloved biscuits surrounded by a sea of bland, white home fries. The butter that should’ve been used to make the home fries was given to me with a side of rye toast. The packaged butter container was exceptional on the rye toast, as it gave me the much needed flavor that the actual meal lacked. To help the raccoon wash down his meal, an old time favorite, the egg cream was ordered to the table. As the chocolate egg cream arrived what remained of my sanity left as the chocolate flavored soda water was free of any creaminess or any old time diner cheer. At the end of the day, don’t trust the trends and instead be a trend setter. If you’re as depressed as I by the end of meal, just remember, “Biscuits and Barbecue” is just a short drive away.THE RACCOON DISAPPROVES

Quintessential diner experience. Great food, old school ambience including a spit fire waitress with a wonderful NY accent.
